Liked: Breakfast was great and rooms were clean

Disliked: Wasn't a party atmosphere if you want to meet people. Everyone kind of chills and is more of a go to sleep kind of spot or a rest day between travels.

Liked: Far from the madding crowd, where natives and visitors alike find pause amongst the trees and grass, Vondelpark is the perfect city centre antidote because it is the City Centre.

Disliked: That it is not my house.

Liked: Good location, very clean, safe and secure

Disliked: there was no shower curtain so the floor got very wet in the bathroom

Liked: Really awesome facilities, delicious breakfast, cool bar with lots of good daily deals and comfy rooms.

Disliked: A bit hard to find/get to, and not very neat showers.

Liked: they offer a lot of discount like museum tickets, bike rental, etc..

Disliked: I think they don't visit rooms often cause it was messed up when we arrive..

Liked: Very large, excellent communal areas, good breakfast, clean rooms.

Disliked: The hostel was overbooked when I arrived and I had to sleep on a camp-bed, but the staff were extremely helpful and refunded me half of my money for the night, and gave me three free drinks at the bar. My second night I was back in the correct bed.

Liked: It's a fully functional hostel, everything working fine, everything as promised. You have to bring a padlock or buy one for 5 Euro at the reception to use the locker in the room. That locker has a decent size - I could fit in all my luggage. Breakfast was good!

Disliked: No complain, but a note: It is really just a place to sleep and have breakfast (but at this it is excellent), it is not inviting to hang out, there is no cozy lounge area, also no smoking area except in front of the entrance, so if you are planning to get to know other travellers, you might want to look for something different.

Liked: We liked the spacious rooms, we loved the huge lockers to safely store our stuff, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious free breakfast!! The location was perfect, right next to a beautiful park, and jn the central area.

Disliked: You have to pay to store your stuff after you check out, but at least you can store your stuff there! Plus, the lockers were dirt cheap-

Liked: it was available. and better price than other hostels in amsterdam, plus quite clean and comfortable.

Disliked: It was huge, more designed for groups, of which there were a lot when we were there, including many school groups. no kitchen facilities or free baggage storage.

Liked: Extremely good location. Very safe building. The staff was helpful. They offer a bunch of services, Breakfast, wifi, laundry, stamps, metro tickets. Really resourceful hostel

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Access control into the building using the key card for our room - increases safety & security. Free breakfast - it was awesome, had excellent variety and to my taste (can't say that about many places outside India, given the fact that I'm a vegetarian). Free Wi-Fi (though the signal was weak in the room). Vending machines of wide variety from snacks to drinks to ice creams. No extra charge for bed linen.

Disliked: Few power sockets in rooms - about 2 or 3 in the room doesn't suffice for 10 people.

Liked: one of the best hostels ive stayed in.. bright spacious rooms, amazing breakfast and brilliant location

Liked: Very good hostel, good location, friendly staff and very secure. Complimentary breakfast was better than expected as well. The rooms were also very clean, and cleaned daily, and an en-suite shower and toilet was welcomed, no communal showers for us :)

Disliked: Very few complaints. There are 3 buildings and our particular room in building C backed on to a road, which had all manner of scooters going down it all night. Would be annoying if you're a light sleeper. Again, a very minor complaint but I had to write something.

Liked: Great location. Rooms were clean. Free WIFI. Close to park and SatelliteSportsCafe with all you can eat BBQ ribs for €9.95 :-)). Overall an enjoyable stay.

Disliked: I did not eat the free breakfast for one because it looked to be quite a line to get in, so I am assuming the dining area was small due to the number of people lined up and down the staircase waiting.

Liked: Staff at the desk gave nice and friendly service.

Disliked: Property was not very clean, and the breakfast was nothing to write home to. Coffee should be better; that would have made a huge difference for me about overall experience.

Liked: Clean, good breakfast, rooms get cleaned daily, close to restaurants and food, short stroll from main party of the city (15-20mins), right next to vondell park, quite, beds comfy and clean, good wifi.

Disliked: Little far out, but walkable, if you want to be in the city don't book this hostel, about a 15-20 walk to the main shopping area and town. Breakfast only goes til 10, however our overall stay was positive and these are only minor things.

Liked: it was nice, clean and near the centre of the city. the staff was really helpful and provided bicycles if u wanted to rent them

Disliked: my friend had been stolen of a neckless she left in the wardrobe but that i guess, it doesn't depend on the hostel staff...

Disliked: Atmosphere is rather plain, staffs are not so friendly & helpful, have to queue for charging my phone / ipod. No power plug in near bed.
