Liked: shower water pressure is very low, room is pretty cramped and the beds were dirty when we checked in.towel sold is EXPENSIVE and CRAPPY quality.be prepared to queue for breakfast if you are planning to have it at 9am.

Liked: I liked this hostel very much. It's safe, clear, have a good breakfast and all things that a travaler needs. The staff is normally kind but there are some rude people, totally impatient. If I go to amsterdã again, I would stay there for sure and I recommend it.

Liked: i liked the fact it had a bar and the barman came out and drank with us, and the rooms where great nice and quite with a clean shower and bathroom, it a backpacker more for the 'general' vacationer but it has alot of facilities and can be alot of fun just a bit harder to meet people than your average youth hostel due to the 'generalness' of the people staying there.

Liked: Well priced and easy to get to by tram but is more of a school's hostel, lots of children. Nothing actually wrong with it but if possible find somewhere else if you're after a backpacker experience.

Liked: Nice rooms, each room had its own bathroom, shower and lockers. The desk staff helped my friend and I with each question, suggested food for us, and were always kind and courteous. The breakfast also was a nice change from the previous hostel we stayed out. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The only negative was that the cleaning crew threw out our shampoo and soap after cleaning one day.

Liked: The downstairs lounge area was great - pool table, air hockey, bar and restaurant (which we didn't eat at but it looked good enough, especially for a hostel). The rooms were .. fair. Very very plain, but it's Amsterdam so you shouldn't be spending time in your room anyway! The location was great, right ON Vondelpark and walking distance to Leidensplein, an awesome place to drink and party. Overall I'd say it was a good value for the price.

Liked: I enjoyed my stay at this hostel, nice rooms and fascilities, good location and big buffet breakfast included. I would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a nice and centrally located hostel in Amsterdam.

Liked: It was a little far away from the central station but close to a couple of the museums. This was my first hostel to stay at but it exceeded my expectations for hostels.

Liked: Nice common area, good atmosphere. But extra fees for internet (no free wifi) and towels should have been included as the hostel was expensive.

Liked: the building itself had lots of character. it was in a lovely setting, opposite vondelpark where cyclists and joggers frequet each day.it was also just 5mins from the Van gogh museum, Reijd museum? and the canal district, so very central.
