Liked: I stayed in a private ensuite room, not in a dorm room. The bar It is very lively and is a nice place to relax. The room was very clean and had good facilities and the location of the hostel is fantastic. They did not service the room during our 3 night stay which I guess is because it is a hostel and not a hotel but I was quite surprised as they advertise as a 5 star hostel. Overall a nice place to stay if you are on a limited budget.

Liked: Close to everything you want to see and do. NO free internet. (only if you have your own lapp top wireless)Wery good pree party restaurng with carejoke. If you dont like the sweet air dont stay here. Loud at night.

Liked: Total freedom and smoking friendly. Don't expect a welcome drink, but who cares about it in Amsterdam, anyways ;) The attached coffeeshop is cool but a bit noisy.

Liked: This is the best accomodation in Amsterdam, right off the red light, within walking distance of everything!The Bulldog has everything you need for your trip, hotel/hostel, bar/restaurant down stairs for food & drink and right next door, coffe shop, that sells everything you need for your trip, smoke, mushrooms & tea, lol. (no need to venture far if having a lazy day)will definately return!!!

Liked: I liked the bar area and the inevitably relaxed attitude to cannibus smoking. Its clean, facilities are pretty good. Area is central if a little sketchy really late at night. Fine otherwise.
