Liked: clean, safe, in the center

Liked: The location was great, so was the bar down past the lobby. The staff was helpful, but not all of them very friendly. The free breakfast was really good.

Disliked: Couldn't get wifi in my room.

Liked: everything was greate. the staff was VERY HELPFULL:)... you can have a great breakfast in this hostel.. you can be sure that never feel regret to stay the Bulldog :)

Liked: The bed was comfy and there was a very nice breakfast

Disliked: It was a but too close to the red light district, also it was very canabis oriented

Liked: The location was amazing - close to centraal station and right in the red liught district. tons of great places to eat and drink and walkable to many sights. great breakfast.

Disliked: I don't think the staff really cleaned at all my first day, the halls smelled odd and the shower in my ensuite dorm bathroom would floor, and you'd have to wait for it to drain and squeegee the floors. also only 1 accessible outlet in a room with 12 people.

Liked: The staff was helpful and gave me a lovely map of amsterdam. There is a shared toilet and bathroom inside the dorm, which is quite convenient. The location is good as it is close to the damsquare.

Disliked: The security is juz ok since when i walked into the hostel at night, no one checks my identity and i juz headed straight upstairs to my room. The smell of cannabis made me feel sick.

Liked: The lounge bar inside had a great vibe; location was perfect & staff was friendly. Loved the free towels & soaps at the desk.

Disliked: No mirrors in small bathroom, lockers were not that secure ( hinges not on properly)

Disliked: Maybe not the greatest place to meet people if you want to party instead of smoke weed all day.

Liked: cool location, close to the city centre, but dirty and noisy at the same time

Liked: good secuirity, smoker friendly, cool staff, amazing deco, a lot of history to the hostel, good vibes through out

Liked: The location is great and there's a bar downstairs which is great if you're too tired to venture far. You can also get a map of the city from reception.

Disliked: The rooms are only average; the showers slightly less than average. You're not allowed to eat in the rooms, either. (Honestly with all the hosteling I've done I've never really encountered anyone trying to eat a full meal in a room, but snacks should be allowed!) In addition, the elevator was questionable, and the stairs were even worse. My friend and I actually tried to walk to the top floor and found ourselves locked in the stairwell...

Disliked: Quite expensive (although Amsterdam generally is) and the staff aren't that great
