Liked: Really good location. Very clean and a great place to meet people if that's what you're into. Had a really good stay here.

Liked: The Bulldog is an ideal place for ppl who want to get into the coffeeshop thing, perhaps not if thats not your thing. Also, might have just been that i was unlucky, but girls on their own might not feel all that comfortable staying there.

Liked: It had such a unique feel to it and you can enjoy having a good nights sleep in peaceful rooms unlike many other hostels in amsterdam which feel like prisons! It had everything you would want and was ideally located to several attractions.

Liked: Mainly the quality of the decor! It was better than most hotels I've stayed in!

Liked: Excellent location and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a bonus for this price too! Highly recommended - one thing though, the lockers are very narrow so you might have a problem getting your bags in them. Bring your own padlock, or buy one there for 5 euros.

Liked: like a hotel more than a hostel but no much character and not a great place to chill out with out other travellers

Liked: Breakfast included; friendly staff; relaxed atmosphere; clean rooms (although shower head does need scrubbing).Over all, a great place to stay. Please let me win this competition, because I really would like to go back and stay for free.

Liked: Nice location near the Red Quarter but nevertheless quiet.As in many youth hostels, do not forget your earplugs in case you're like us no so much of a night clubber and more of an early bird, as people coming back from coffee shops may be a little giggly.good breakfast.
