 everything best hostel ive stayed in during several months in europe hostel has everything you need within its walls.

It's a friendly and clean place. The breakfast (included) is great and generous; bread and rolls, marmelades, eggs, cereals, coffee/tea, a piece of apple and juices - the best I have had so far (including some hotels as well). Bulldog is a clean and friendly place to where I will return the next time I'm in Amsterdam. Bathrooms are en suite and clean with always hot water, bedrooms (dorms) have lockers and even an air condition; beds are clean with sheets incl, towels for hire. The location is excellent - girls don't be afraid, it's safe. Soap/shampoo and even condoms are available free to pick up from a reception. No curfew, 24 hour security. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at :-)

First hostel so it was nice to start of somewhere clean. Were in a dorm of 12 and that was grand. Pretty spacious so it didnt feel like you were sleeping on top of each other. Location was incredible , could walk to everything, and was so easy to find after getting of the train.

It is right in the center of Amsterdam. It is close to all the major attractions and activities. Besides it is also very comfortable with a bar and room to hang out on ground level.

Pretty easily accessible from the train station, lots of info. it was convenient having the bar just downstairs and the bulldog coffeeshop right next door. the rooms were very secure and a lot quieter than other hostels i've stayed at in amdam, so if you're wanting to sleep you just need to look out for snorers.

The hostel was clean, safe, and had a nice bar and rooftop patio, but it was expensive for a 12 bed room.

It was amazingly central to everything...the receptionist was absolutely lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was a nice touch too! On arrival we took full advantage of the free condoms, soap and shampoo! The staff were very honest and where possible gave us little tips on how to save money and where to visit! 10/10...brilliant weekend!
