Liked: A great experience, beautifully located next to the Nemo Museum (from which u have a beautiful view over the city! Just 8-10 Min by foot to the central station, 5 minutes to chinatown or the nieve markt and red light district. Nice and friendly staff, very good breakfast, clean, cozy, warm, best u can get for your money

Disliked: the walls of the cabins are a bit thin, u can hear a lot...

Liked: Breakfast was the best in any hostel I have ever had!! Even better than many hotel breakfasts. Very cosy and special atmosphere!!

Disliked: We ordered a double room but got a twin room instead, but what could you expect when it really is so small!!!

Liked: Breakfast was good, as was the heating in the rooms. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Really small rooms and sewerage smell on cabin level was bad.

Liked: Easy to find and helpful staff, the guy who works there was really helpful and fun made the place a great place to stay

Disliked: Nothing really, it's a boat so rooms are small but what can u expect.

Liked: I liked staying on a boat and having a private room for 2. Also there was a roomy dining area and deck for hanging out.

Disliked: there was a slight scent from the septic but the rooms and dining area all smelled fresh. everything else was great

Liked: Clean and a good-located place. very nearby to central station. so you can go to everywhere by walking. people were friendly. breakfast was not rich but if you are looking for only coffee and few things to eat it is enough. also small place to meet people easily. especially waking up on the water is very nice.

Disliked: no towels. small rooms. short sealings. only 4 bahrooms and 2 toilets.

Liked: Good value for money. Basic breakfast included. Not too far from Central Station, but a bit further than we expected. Cabins quite small, but adequate.

Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: very friendly staff, use of kitchen, heineken 1,5 euro- which is more than 3euro elsewhere..location realy 10 mins from centre, but you rent bikes for a discount price because youre in Friesland and it is then 3 mins to the centre...

Disliked: everything as expected ..all great

Liked: The experience of being in a boat was really interesting! The staff is great, the breakfast is delicious! It's worth it! The room is very very tiny, but thats ok!

Liked: It was great to be staying on a boat, with the gentle rocking and the upstairs communal area was always warm and welcoming. John the manager was always welcoming and had lots of good advice and suggestions for Amsterdam. The rooms are small but cosy and pretty much ideal for placing your stuff and sleeping in.I would definately stay at on the boat again.

Disliked: The bathrooms weren't great quality but we were told that they will be doing renovations soon. There was a tendenacy to smell the septic system.

Liked: It is fun to stay on a boat, the breakfast spread was good and the owner was helpful in telling us where to explore.

Disliked: The rooms are extremely small. There is no space to move but it does mean all your time will be spent exploring Amsterdam instead of sitting in your room.

Liked: Breakfast is way above average for a hostel. Reception/dining area is welcoming and warm. Good music at the loudspeakers!

Disliked: It's very very tiny. Ok for a couple days, but you can't really hang out in your room for any longer. Just hope the weather is good in Amsterdam and go out! Also the smell in bathrooms/corridor doesn't help much.

Disliked: Doesn't sail the sea. Lacks shelves in showers and soap at the sinks.

Liked: It is very nice and interesting place to stay, close to the center, station and besides this it is not a usual but located on a boat. Staff is really nice, rooms clean and breakfast delicious :)

Liked: We liked Roy. Extremely helpful and friendly. Although he does not own the boat, he runs it as though it's his pride and joy. Breakfast was great- such a variety! I highly recommend this place any time!

Liked: The barge was a great place to stay, it was clean, never felt crowded even when it was fully booked, comfortable and Roy is the best skipper ever!

Disliked: very small rooms (like a tent) - didn't expected large rooms as it's a ship, but it was really small.
