Liked: Very good place for traveller, nice experience to sleep in a boat! We enjoyed the stay. Breakfast is excellent!

Liked: The boat is spacious and clean and Roy is a fantastic host. Breakfast is a pretty good spread too.

Disliked: Nothing in particular. If you stay here, expect small spaces in rooms and shower areas as this is an actual boat.

Liked: NIce and clean, breakfast is an 'eat as much as you like' type thing, Roly runs the ship as a one man band operation, and you can rest assured, he will look after you

Disliked: It being a ship you have to be prepared to feel a bit dizzy from the waves on occasions and overwhelmed by the constant wind. It is not a big deal though, and we did get used to it. The rooms are small, but not unexpectedly. Overall there is nothing big to complain about.

Liked: I thought this was a very original place to stay. It was great value for money. The rooms were a bit tight but we had everything we needed and the breakfast was excellent.

Disliked: Other reviewers commented on the bad smell in the toilets and showers - those comments were fair. I think the boat is a bit old, and that might be the cause of the problem.

Liked: Simple but effective. Amazing waking up to see the waters through the window with the Oude Kerk in the distance. Breakfast was very good. We felt very welcomed on arrival. Roy was very helpful, understanding and generally a top bloke and a good host. On the whole, it gave us everything we were looking for, at a good price. Would definitely come back if I find myself in Amsterdam in the future.

Disliked: The noise of doors opening and closing, people talking and walking around can be quite noticeable. For me it wasn't a problem but I can see how it can be for others.

Liked: The Price is very good considering other hotels in Amsterdam. Rooms are clean.

Disliked: The location is very good but its quite hard to find the hotel if you are not familiar with the area. Hence some more signs would be good.

Liked: Amazing place to stay! The staff are so friendly! They carried our bags to our rooms, gave us towels for no charge, showed us the cheapest bike rentals in the city and had an amazing free breakfast!! Will stay here again when I return to Amsterdam.

Disliked: It was a little bit further from the station then I originally thought, which is fine, but we had big luggage!

Liked: Great location and value for money. Guy running the place is really friendly and helpful. Loved that they are very trustworthy with the bar and laptop, letting you access the bar 24/7 and to leave your money in the tub.

Disliked: Other people staying there weren't particularly sociable.

Liked: Really good location - you can walk straight into town and only a short walk from Centraal station. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff - he gave us a map and recommended some places to visit as soon as we arrived.

Disliked: Very small room - but this was to be expected on a boat! My boyfriend said that the male toilets smelt disgusting, but the female ones were fine... Overall, the novelty of staying on a boat and the good location outweigh the cons.

Liked: Overall was not a bad experience, nice and helpful staff, but the location I would say is just a bit far away from city center and central rail station (about 20 mins by walk), consider if you walk through the whole city during the day out.

Disliked: Nothing dislike. Great viewing from the boat at night! Probably our room was just a bit small you could't sit properly.

Liked: The owner was very laid-back, friendly, and generous. He gave us lots of good tips for things to do in the city, and you can get a Heineken for just 1,50 inside, plus breakfast is excellent with a lots of variety, all included in the price. Also, the top deck is a great place to just chill and smoke, and the reception area also is spacious and comfortable to hang out in.

Disliked: Not a thing.

Liked: very cozy. Nice place to meet people. Living on a boat is kind of cool also

Disliked: Lousy showers and you have to be very quiet since the walls that separate the rooms are very thin.

Disliked: There is not wifi available there. There is a computer in the reception that people can use for free. Room is very small, just enoug to sleep.
