Liked: The boat was kept very tidy and was about a ten to maybe 15 minute walk from the redlight district and also the central tram station which are two of the most important things in Amsterdam. Also Arnold was a tremendous amount of help. He knew the best places to go, makes breakfast for everyone, and even has cheap beers if you want a few drinks before you go out. All in all a great experience and for the money I would reccommend to anyone!

Disliked: The only problem which was minor was the size of the rooms are fairly small and the bathrooms could be a little stinky but if you bring a can of air freshiner and dont mind the rooms then you will have absolutely no other compaints!

Liked: Very friendly staff, good breakfast, lovely lounge area

Disliked: It was probably just the room that we were in, but it smelled very badly. The rooms are tiny but clean and confortable

Liked: We liked that we had the opportunity to stay on a houseboat. It was a really fun experience. The staff was very helpful and gave a lot of good advice on how to enjoy Amsterdam. The breakfast was very good as well.

Disliked: The room got pretty hot during the night and it was a little small but when your remember that you are on a boat, it's not a big deal. If you book a stay here, remember that it is a boat, it's not a building with tons of room.

Liked: Great 'free" breakfast and good beds!

Disliked: Yeah it's a boat but the cabinets are really small, so I would say 25 euros instead of 35 euros would be better.

Liked: The boat hostel was great! Great breakfast everyday with free wifi! Staff was also very helpful by providing us with a map and explaining to us how to get to all the different attractions in town.

Disliked: Cannot bathe after 11pm as it will disturb the other guests on the boat. It is a small boat afterall.

Liked: Amacing and helpfull staff, you can ask anything. Very easy-going to sit on the dock and drink beer (that you pay in the honesty box 1,5e and take from the Heineken-fridge) on a sunny day. Nice breakfast. The boat is very endearing and the location is great. If going back to Amsterdam, surely going back to stay in AmicitiA.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. Loved the place.

Liked: Fantastic buffet breakfast! Roy the manager was also very helpful.

Disliked: The toilet slightly smelled, but hey, it's a ship.

Liked: *Roy is a very nice guy, he's always ready to help you with everything. *The boat is the only boat of the dock turned to the city, so you can see Amsterdam in the breakfast (wich is very good!) *It's the best located hostel of Amsterdam, 5 minutes from the Central Station by foot and 30 seconds by bike :D

Disliked: Few things: *The room is small, but it's a boat, so it's impossible to have a big room. *Breakfast starts at 8:30, and i like to wake up at 7am, but that's ok.

Disliked: The rooms (or should I say cabinets) were a bit small. Tho who wants to spend their vacation in a room anyway?

Liked: Great location - on the boat. Not very fancy place but good value for money - especially if you don't want to visit the city and not sitting in the room. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Disliked: Rooms are very small, on the other hand you have stronger motivation to go outside :) No double bed, just seperate.

Liked: It was so fun staying on a boat! The advice from Roy the manager was very helpful, good maps and places to go! Very good location, peaceful when you want, but not far at all from the main district!

Disliked: The noisy school trip from Germany!

Liked: Nice experience staying in a boat. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable beds. Very nice view from the rooms window. There is a lap top with free internet at the desk. Cheap drinks and a "honesty box" were you take the drink by yourself and put the money inside. I thought there will be some annoying boat swinging but not, boat is pretty stable. Very nice breakfast.

Disliked: A little bit noisy, since the rooms walls were thin and you can hear people from the other rooms and at the corridor.

Liked: I really liked the breakfast, It has everything you can ask, yogurt, milk cereals, ham, cheese, bread, tomatoes, everything. And it was really good.

Disliked: The noises.. But for us wasn´t a problem because we got up early in the morning and arrive late at night.

Liked: Everything was perfect. The best place to stay for several days in Amsterdam. Good location. Very friendliness and helpfulness staff. Nice breakfast.

Disliked: Smell in shower and toilet, but I didn't care. not so bad.
