Liked: Good price, helpful staff, good location only 10 minutes walking to Central Station , and 15 min walking to the city center, varied and complete breakfast in the morning, warm place. But it is only a place to sleep, nothing else, cabins are that cabins and they are ok but they are quite narrow.

Liked: very helpful and friendly staff. warm, cosy and inviting, perfect for inviting friends round for a drink! it was perfect and in central amsterdam!

Liked: Very friendly layed back staff, good atmosphere overall. Were there as a group, at nights it felt like having your own little house party. Nicely located, just a short walk from the central station.

Liked: Friendly person working at the hostel. Also, nice and large breakfast! Rooms can also be made as warm as you like (with a little adjustment of the radiator) - perfect for those biting winters nights.

Liked: Was fun and unique, friendly owners, but being a barge is a double-edged sword ... not much space and can be very noisy, especially on the weekend

Liked: A great place to sleep, not far away of the center and central station. Small rooms in a ship, but very clean. Always hot water. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Vale la pena!!!

Liked: The greeting from the crew on arrival was friendly warm and very informative and helpful. The room was small but warm and cozy. The whole vessel was very clean. The location is great within walking distance of centraal station, Damrak and the famous Red Light District. The location enables you to get quickly to all attractions and public transport while the Friesland is very calm and relaxing place to retire to at the end of a busy fun filled day. Special thanks to John for a great time on board the. Friesland.

Liked: Lots of fun staying on a boat. Owners were great, very chilled and relaxed. Might be worthwhile to check your key for the front door works before heading out for the night, other than that a wonderful friendly place to stay.
