Customer reviewClean room. As expected in Amsterdam, everything is very small, from stairways to sinks and shower. That doesn't bother me. A place for a night's sleep. Not for fun, not to meet people, not for the friendly staff. |

Domen PuncerGreat location, althought finding the enterance might require asking a neighbouring bar. Showers suck - they have no dry area to step on, or to put your stuff. The only "tap water+sink" is in the room where you sleep, which is suboptimal. |

Kah Hou SUThe room was pretty alright. Housekeeping was good. The water pressure from the shower was a bit weak. Other than that..It is a really good place! |

Customer reviewThe location is the best point about this hotel. The common bathroom facilities are lacking and some of the stairs are too narrow to walk up...better to crawl or climb. |

Michele CalderonGreat location, right on the main street Damrak filled with shops and restaurants. 5min walk from Centraal station. Basic hostel for shower and sleeping. No other facilities or social meeting areas for interaction. It has steep winding stairs, not good if you have a trolley suitcase. |

Michele DemurtasThe only pros are the location and the young guests. It says 8 beds rooms but there were 9-10. I think rooms is "cleaned" everyday, but the bed linen and pillows were often dirty of ash and, under the beds and the radiator, there were heaps of rubbish. And here the worst thing: one night i heard the sound of an animal eating something.. "crunch crunch". I was trying to believe that was only a piece of plastic moving but then i saw it. It was very fast, i still don't know what it was, but it were hard sleeping that night. From the only one window of the room (number 100) you can watch the damrak (and that 's positive) but, closing that, will make you die for hot and anyway you always hear strong noise coming from the street. The stairs are very weird! I think one step is 10 cm long more or less. You have to climb them on tiptoe and be careful while going down. Probably it worth the price of 17 euro pp pn but only for the location. Cleaning service could be much better and i hope it will be. However, after reading many reviews of other cheap hotels, they seemed worse and also the other room guests doesn't seemed to be unhappy of the place. My experience was not so good, i hope yours will be better. Hope i was useful and sorry for possible mistakes in my english. |
