Liked: Location was the best thing!

Liked: Really close to a lot of coffeeshops. cheap. walking distance from dam square. met a few nice people in my room and at the lobby, so that was good.the bathrooms were inside the room, even though they said they'd be outside..

Disliked: despite the "central" location, it's pretty far (by foot or tram) from the central station, museums, markets etc. if you're in amsterdam to find hookers and drugs, the location is prefect, otherwise not so much. it was impossible to find decent food around, everything was just junk food, all shops were touristy and expensive, so no shopping no food and no attractions (except for the red light district ones). the room was filthy, didn't even have rags for the bathroom, everything was flooded and stinky all the time. the stairs were impossible..

Liked: They had a bed for me. That's about it.

Disliked: Mould on walls, freezing and broken showers, disgusting.

Liked: I'd like very much of the theme of the hostel!!! Very nice, thank you for the hospitality, and for showing how easy is to live in harmonie with everyone.

Disliked: The bathroom was a little bit small and not very clean... so you have to take care of that. You are in the way, to be a 5 stars hostel. =D

Liked: Great location. They provide reliable locker next to your bed so feels very secure. Was clean. Met some nice people there although it's not the best place for atmosphere and fun.

Disliked: The room was next to the street so it was a bit noisy from the bars outside. It's in the Red Light District after all :) It wasn't too bad after all.

Liked: The location is wonderful: on the side of de Wallen (Red Lights district). Staff was helpful and friendly. There were safe boxes for every bed (for 5 euro deposit). People living in the rooms are usually young travellers so you always can find friends. Breakfast is only 3 euro.

Disliked: I booked a bed in a 6-8 beds dormitory and got a bed in 12 beds one. I also was a bit worried about left luggage service, since they simply give you a key from a storage room where you leave or take your stuff (so everyone obviously can take whatever they want from there).

Liked: Hostel is right on the main street of the red-light district and was still safe and pretty quiet. Each bed has a free locker for smaller bags. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Met tons of people and wandered the streets for hours! Right next to all sorts of "attractions" and bars. Very close to central station was also a bonus. Recommend to anyone not afraid to be right in the middle of the chaos known as Amsterdam

Liked: The location is the only good thing

Disliked: Their bathroom stinks very badly the whole day, The windowns don't open, which makes the room smell bad as well and be suffocatiing. The walls are red, the walls and floor are black and the lightening is pretty bad! All these make you alsodoubt the cleaniness of the room. People smoke weed inside the room, turn on the lights anytime they get there during the night, without respecting the rest of the others. They don't have a kitchen for commom use, which is really necessary in a city where food costs so much. Their weekend is way to expensive (40 euro for 10 beds room) for what they have to offer.

Liked: the people were nice, it was a fun place to meet people. rooms bigger and cleaner than i expected, was very clean. i felt safe in the hostel even though it is in the red light district.

Disliked: sometimes the location was noisy at night, and the rooms got really warm, the lady at the desk during the day was quite unfriendly & moody .

Liked: An absolute treasure in the "Heart Of Amsterdam". Clean, new, modern, convenient, easy going. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED place to stay in Amsterdam. A hostel where I'll look forward to stay with again when I return to Amsterdam. Room quality can be compared to some 3/4-star hotels!!

Liked: Location is amazing. You're on the main street in Red Light district and next to Casa Rosso (most reputable live sex show), and the Red Light district is in the very center of Amsterdam and it is completely safe and normal. 10 min walk to Central station. 3 min to Dam Square. Breakfast is 3 euro but is pretty worth it, bread with a variety of deli meet and cheese, juice, milk, eggs, can't really ask for more. The rooms are very very clean and beds very comfortable. Bathroom very clean and shower strong. Only suggestion is you should upgrade to a 6-8 ensuite, it's only 2 euros more but so well worth it because the 10-12 bed ensuite's bathroom can get a bit overwhelming given how much people party here.
