Liked: realy good bunks, very sucure lockers

Disliked: No bar so little atmospher.

Liked: location is the only one thing i like about this hostel.

Disliked: The staffs were really NOT friendly. All poker faces. no smile. Everytime I have problem, they acted like that is not thier business. Everything is broken. my light and plug were broken. I told them, but after 2 days until I left the hostel. They didn't fix it at all. Shower water pipe was clogged. Only can get wifi in lobby, but there are only two plugs there. IT WAS THE WOREST HOSTEL I HAVE EVEN BEEN.

Liked: Middle of Amsterdam City everything is near by this hostel and close to Red light District Area....

Disliked: There was no Proper Vantelation System...

Liked: good location. rooms nice and spacious.

Disliked: no communal room so not really anywhere to chill in the hostel.

Liked: Location is amazing, right in the middle of the RLD.

Disliked: The room we had was very very dark and gloomy...black paint on walls? really?

Liked: The bathroom was amazing, was pleasantly surprised when discovered soap, shower gel and towel. Its right in the heart of red lights/coffe shops, but still isolated enough to not be too noisy.

Disliked: i missed a nice common area to chill/smoke/socialise in. It was freezing when we went and would have been really nice to be able to just say in.

Liked: Location - 10min walk from train station.

Disliked: The stairs going upstairs - way toooooooooooooooooo wide.

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable.

Disliked: It didn't feel like there was a good communal area to just hang out and meet your fellow travellers. The area near reception felt more like a waiting room than a social area, and as there are often people asleep in the shared dorms (whatever time of day it is) it would of been nice to have some type of lounge room.

Liked: 1. I arrived at midnight, but the location is easy to find out even at that time. 2.The locker is high technology but easy to use.

Disliked: The hot water is very very HOT! The door of my room is hard to open and close.

Liked: Fantastic location, quite modern and kinda trendy, TV in the room with heapsa channels.

Disliked: I found the staff/reception quite cold and distant and not helpful, though an Asian girl was very helpful but the others were very distant, put me off approaching them. The bunkbeds were way too high and without safety bars to stop you from falling of them whilst the bed space was very slim and I was terrified of slipping off the edge onto the solid floor. The hot water was off for one whole day, also.

Liked: It may have been a small room but the beds were so comfortable some of the best sleep i got across europe. Good location too right in the red light district with wifi available in the rooms.

Disliked: Its been said by everyone but the stairs are horrible. And there was not much space in the room for bags

Liked: Great locations, nice large dorm room. Each bed has a personal shelf and reading light.

Disliked: The toilets were not well cleaned, and very small, so it was hard to shower and change clothes.

Liked: the hostel is right in the red light district, quite safe at night. I stay in 8 ppl dorm, the room was OK. each ppl have there own bed light and recharger( BUT MINE IS NOT WORKING) anyway, I think this hostel is much better than Damrak Inn which I stayed for another night!

Disliked: some beds don't have the stairs to climb up, it's quite dangerous! I stay in the upper bed, the ceiling is too close, I hit my head several times even I already bend down. Recommand to stay at the lower bed.

Liked: Large rooms with good clean beds and great bathrooms.

Disliked: Shared with 5 boys who were loud.

Liked: Great location and interesting room decor. Liked having the lockers shelf and reading light. Also a plug beside each bed.

Disliked: A bit overpriced for a 12 person dorm. Also everything except for the bathrooms seemed to get a thorough cleaning. It was a bit gross in there, but managable.

Liked: new toilet and very good shower

Disliked: noisy as hell. couldn't sleep for the whole night. It wasn't the noise from OUTSIDE the hostel. It has actually no sound insulation between the corridor and the room. plus the door knobs are always detaching.

Liked: Location, location, location. Right in the heart of the red light district.

Disliked: No free breakfast. No internet in the rooms.

Liked: Its across the canal from hookers, can roll js in the lobby room. Other than that...its only ok if you and youre friends book the entire room.

Disliked: You dont have enough space for me to describe the worst hostel ive been in europe. I know theres worse out there, but this was my worst.

Liked: Central location that is right in the heart of what Amsterdam is all about. Close to transport and key attractions.

Disliked: Very very dark inside the rooms. There is not sufficient lighting so room feels dungy. Staff were not very helpful or friendly. Extra 5% charged on arrival which was not stated on booking information. They said that deposit paid went to hostelbookers therefore we had to pay an extra 5% on bill.

Liked: The movie themed rooms were fun and i liked the private shelf and light space next to each bed.

Disliked: It was literally in the centre of the red light district, but if your into that then it would be good. It also kinda smelt.

Disliked: The red light district houses are great but when you enter any of them and use the stairs you will hate them!!!
