Liked: Sadly, I was sick the entire duration of my stay in Amsterdam, but the staff were so friendly, helpful and caring. They really helped me and did all that was possible to make me feel better. It was also in great location, situation right in the centre of the red light district with a beautiful view of the canal. I would highly recommend this place. The breakfast was good, but the wifi was down and had been for the past week. It would be hard to find an immaculate hostel in regards to cleanliness and other benefits that a hotel offers, but this hostel was a perfect fit for what I wanted.

Liked: A brilliant location for Amsterdam and the whole movie theme of the Hostel was great. Just reminder to bring your earplugs as the Red Light District gets loud in the evening when you might want to sleep. Just one bad point: the 7 sleeper room we stayed in had 2 windows but they could not open so the room's ventilation did not exist.

Liked: This was one of the worst hostels we've stayed at...the staff so was so not helpful they actually made my life more difficult..the wifi didn't work, the bathrooms/showes were unusable and they actually charge 5 euros for use of lockers. there's one key per room and people coming in and out so lockers would really be helpful. beds seemed clean and were pretty comfortable, breakfast was pretty good but everything else was so miserable none of these seemed like a consolation. Definitely buy a map of amsterdam before you attempt to find the hostel and be prepared for a crowd of 19 yr old american backpackers with no hostel etiquette.

Liked: The location was excellent. Breakfast was awesome. But if your looking to smoke (anything) this is not the Hostelyou want. They have a no smoking policy.

Liked: Great place to stay the only fault is no kitchen but fill up on the buffet breakfast because it is great and you can't beat the location!

Liked: Location!!! This hostel is located right smack dab in the middle of the Red light district. A short walk to any of the great places to visit in Amsterdam.

Liked: IDEAL location, and incredibly quiet at night as long as you don't have a front room. Great breakfast, much more than I expected for "free"!

Liked: Its in the heart of the red light district and 10 mins away from train station. Unfortunately the bathroom/toilet had a very bad smell - it appears to be drainage smell from the building. They charge 5 euros for a locker which is ridiculous.I didn't stay the second night although I paid for it.
