Liked: This hostel has a great atmosphere and feels like a hotel more than a hostel. The beds, rooms, and the bathrooms are all great, and the location is perfect. I would highly recommend this hostel.

Liked: I loved staying here because it was a safe place to come back to, people were nice, the location was central and it was a good deal for all the things they offered. It was my first time at any hostel and I really made a great choice.

Liked: The hotel is being renovated, so it is pretty noisy in the coridors and because of that you cant sleap durring the day. Nice breakfast, nice staff, location in red light district, which is pretty cool. There is a pub next door, another reason why you can not fall asleap durring the night. But it was pretty cool for a one day

Liked: This hostel was great to stay at, it was kept very clean! The showers weren't the best and the hostel was very quiet. This hostel is great for the price and I would recommend anyone to stay there!

Liked: It was right on the red light district and was awesome, the staff were super nice and its a great place to meet people. You are really in the best location at this hostel! Its clean and fun so enjoy your stay

Liked: The location is good however the toilet hv unpleasant smell and for the last night of my stay, the toilet cant b used due to leakage.The lighting in the room is one of the problem as well. Its too dark.The extractor fan is not clean/blocked.

Liked: Staying in this hostel makes you in the middle of the Red Light District. Granted it's the transvestite street, but still. This is a good location for anybody looking to go crazy at night and sleep all day (that's what everybody in our room did). One major fault with this hostel is that every morning around 11:00, the cleaning guy comes in the room and makes a horrible amount of noise -- to the point where nobody can sleep anymore. This basically forces you to get up kind of early. If you can get past this, then this is the hostel for you. Have fun at the Dam!

Liked: Clean place, showers are great. Rooms were dark but nice. Good location but it can be loud at times from people hanging out and smoking in the outdoor common area. Breakfast 3 euro included free wifi

Liked: Quite clean from what I could tell, provided sheets and towels every day, had safe/lockers in room. Staff was reasonably helpful. The single key system for the room can get slightly annoying, but not the worst thing ever since there's someone at the desk 24/7. The rooms facing the street are awfully loud at night with people pouring out of the next-door bar and yelling about hookers, but if you're complaining about that, you clearly don't belong in Amsterdam. I wouldn't say it was particularly social when I was there, but it could have just been the people-- there is a small common area/nice couches out front. A little on the pricey side, but when the other top 1 or 2 hostels in Amsterdam are booked, I think this is a solid option. Would definitely go back.
