Liked: location, location, location!

Disliked: rude bordering on insulting and badly trained staff, especially the kitchen/bar people,

Liked: Good value happy hour, 24 hour availability, good location.

Disliked: Secruity is not superb as lookers can easily be broken into. The shower was terrible, probably the worst ever. You can't cotrol the tempreture and it comes out in drips.

Disliked: - Le staff qui n'est ni aimable, ni souriant ni vraiment efficace. - Le reveil à 10h façon militaire avec ouverture des portes sans se soucier de savoir si vous êtes habillés et ou on vous laisse 5 minutes pour quitter la chambre et ou on revient toutes les minutes pour vous le rappeler (alors qu'à l'arrivée vous ne pouvez avoir vos cles qu'a partir de 14h!). - La douche qui vous brule ou vous gele et qui innonde jusqu'au toilettes

Liked: I liked the value for money and location. Was able to walk everywhere.

Disliked: It was very noisy. I was in the first dorm next to reception so I heard every guest coming and going and the bar was quite noisy. Not a problem if you (like most of the guests) are in Amsterdam to stay out late and then only arrive back at the hostel in the wee hours to crash, but if you actually want a good nights sleep request a dorm the farthest away from reception possible.

Liked: had it's own nightclub, bar and resturant, breakfast included, right in the middle of the action.

Disliked: the luggage holding room was an un-locked free-for-all.

Liked: Great atmosphere at the bar. Staff was friendly and helpful considering how busy they were at all times. Very good location.

Disliked: Cleanliness was poor. Very bad and unsafe lockers to leave your bag in your room. Showering was a kinda challenge. The busiest hostel I've ever seen.

Liked: It was a good location. you could walk anywhere really from there pretty quickly

Disliked: It was a pretty antisocial environment. bar was really empty and club downstairs was awful.

Liked: Location was good.

Disliked: The checkout policy, whereby the entire facility checks out simultaneously at 10am, makes for a long and inefficient process. My recommendation is to streamline the process (the key return for deposit) so that there is not a crowd of people in the entry and so we don't have to wait 30 minutes to checkout.

Liked: no air in the rooms, lots of mosquitos. SMells and its dirty. It's too big to really meet people. There are better places to go.

Disliked: The sheets and towels were questionable and the lockers weren't very secure.

Liked: Cheap, and easy to book and find. Great location, and perfect for our one night stay in Amsterdam.

Disliked: Size of lockers, they could do with being a bit bigger, but other than that, it was a perfect stay.

Liked: Good location, good for meeting people. Happy hour, good bar, disco downstairs.

Disliked: The fact this place advertises an 'included' breakfast is a joke. Don't choose this hostel over others for this. Its basically bread and ham. Other things are on offer that you have to pay for, even simple things like cereal €1.50 (you could buy a box for that), fruit juice €1 (again, you could buy a carton for that!!). Its very noisy at night as they play music in the hall for what seemed like all night and if you are travelling alone or in a small group its hard to move as there seems to always be huge groups, which get priority of the tables etc.

Liked: Really good location, I could easily walk to all the sights and bars etc. Rooms were basic but clean and the en suite bathroom was nice, showers were hot. Bar had cheap drinks and was a good place to meet people before a night out.

Disliked: Staff were friendly but not particularly helpful.
