Claire MillsThis was probably the worst hostel we have stayed at in western europe. The large dorm rooms had absolutely no sercurity. No one got a key for the room so it was constantly unlocked so that the 14 or so people in there could get in and out, the front door to the hostel was unlocked and appeared unmoinitored so anyone could walk off the street all the way into the dorm where everyones stuff was and people were sleeping. One of the guys in our room had his wallet stollen. the bathroom coming off the dorm (the only one the dorm people had access too) had a broken door handle so if you went in and the handle on the other side fell off you were literally stuck until someone let you out... i found a girl in there who had been stuck for quite a while and was pretty upset. the location was good during the day (about 5min walk to the centre) however at night when coming back from partying at 3 in the morning, you have to walk down a street that not many people are on. apparently the local muggers know this spot well for tourists and my boyfriend and i got mugged going home. |

Customer reviewIt was a very nice and clean room. But be sure to really reserve your bed, or you might find other guests in it when you return at night. Nice breakfast. |

Customer reviewFor the most part the hotel was okay. The only thing I really liked was it's proximity to everything and the room was fairly clean. Apparently though they never received my reservation and because I didn't really have a choice I paid almost double for my 2 nights stay even after I quoted the prices to the front desk clerk and showed my confirmation number. I don't know who's fault it is but somewhere along the line, the ball got dropped. Only one small light for the whole room and the bathroom light worked. If you're just looking for a place to crash after a night a partying this place works but don't expect much else. |

Customer reviewDecent place, but the facility was overall loud- not sure if it was other guests or neighbors but I could hear people walking and talking well into the night. Our room (3 person private) was very close to the ground floor so we were not comfortable leaving the window open to allow fresh air in, so it was hot. Reminder- get to breakfast on time if you want the best selection. Also- if you like ham & cheese sandwiches you will like their breakfast! So random... |
