We were a group of 5 girls who had booked the 10 bedded dorm in Orfeo for its good price and availability. however when we arrived the staff had a vacant 4 person private room with ensuite, and offered us that with an extra bed on the floor, if we wished. This would usually have cost more but they didnt charge the extra, which was great for us! They were very friendly and helpful with all other queries during our stay too!

The hostel is close to Amsterdam night life and there are many cheap restaurants close to here.

If you want to party all weekend, Orfeo is in the heart of pubs and clubs which is fantastic (you can stumble back with ease!) and so easy to get to from CS. The staff were friendly also and spoke good English which was good for me!!

not much this hostel should not be apart of hostelbookers.com it is in terrible condition the staff are less than helpfull. in our room the roof was mouldy the water pipe leaked it was terrible!

I booked a 4-bed dorm but the dorm was a mess when i got there. the hostel staff upgraded me to a 2-bed dorm and i actually had the room to myself. much appreciated.
