Liked: I enjoyed the breakfast, the close proximity to the tram stop, and the helpful staff.

Disliked: The notion of having "mixed" rooms. I was traveling alone before I began my program for studying abroad and my first night at the hostel I was in a room with all females. However, my second night I was told would be "mixed" and I had to share a room with 5 other males. I felt this was not a wise choice on behalf of the staff. I felt extremely uncomfortable and did not sleep well.

Liked: Good breakfast. Cheaper than the other places in Amsterdam.

Disliked: Our beds were not ready even at 2pm in the afternoon. The corridors were filthy. There was no wifi. The lighting in the bedrooms was poor.

Liked: it was more like a hotel than a hostel. Was almost too big and sometimes difficult to meet people but overall a very nice place to stay

Disliked: to far from the city. Tram tickets each day add up

Liked: I liked building, the lobby (nice comfy chairs), the dorms in general (clean sheets and comfy beds) and most of the staff. The whole place was very clean.

Disliked: One of the male staff was completely useless when it came to asking where to go for something fun to do at night. He basically said stay in the stayokay bar. However he eventually understood that we wanted to actually go out and see Amsterdam and gave us a few areas to go to, but his whole attitude was ridiculous. The toilet / shower light was very odd, turned off every 5 seconds- no exaggeration.

Liked: It was nice and big and modern, and it was really comfortable and pretty cool in the rooms. The breakfast was decent and the location is fine cos you just catch the 14 tram for 10 minutes and you're in the city. I didnt like having to pay 3 euros for 1 hour of internet but that was the only major downside. I'd reccomend it.

Disliked: paying for the internet/wifi is pretty stupid in a hostel and the location isnt the greatest,but at least its in a nice open part of the city

Liked: Clean big hotel/hostel with a great bar,,no to far away from town,,and with the tram it's only a couple of minutes.

Disliked: No AC and even inside the bar it could be sweating hot! The place is big and it's hard to find a tight group if you come alone i guess but there is no problem to find friends here,,,

Liked: This hostel was so clean and the 5 bed dorm was really funky and new. Loved the character of this hostel and the breakfast was quite good too.

Disliked: It was ten minutes on the tram which was kinda out of the way as the tram was 4.40 a ago.

Liked: It was quite clean and somehow I used the same room with people from my country, which was very unusual if I use a hostel, not a guesthouse.

Disliked: I had to buy the wifi. I don't know if they said it, but i wasn't expecting it.

Liked: I like an atmosphere of restaurant and brasserie, staff were very helpfull and areas of restaurant and reception were beutiful.

Disliked: I dislike small and dark rooms, it was very hot and fug because windows cannot open in the apartement and also atmosphere wasn´t pleasant,.But it´s good enough if you want only sleep.

Liked: The beds 5 and 6 for the six person room where in their own cute level. It was really fun for me and my friend!!

Disliked: The hallways smelled bad (like a locker room)-- yuck!

Liked: Clean rooms, plenty of space for your stuff in the rooms. Showers and toliet in rooms.

Disliked: No kitchen, free breakfast is over at 10am, internet is expensive. It is located about 20-25 mins from center city which could be a problem. The atmosphere was very generic and I was there while about 4 different groups of high school trip were there.
