Liked: spacious and clean

Disliked: I really don't like that windows HARDLY open. Rooms are too hot to sleep at night...... not enough air, NO FRESH AIR!!!!

Liked: Super safe, clean, friendly place. Diverse mix of guests- young, old, smokers, backpackers, and church groups, but no bad vibe.

Disliked: It was a bit far from the "happenin" places, but transportation is super convenient.

Liked: Very new and tidy. Great facilities. It has more of a hotel feel. The breakfast was the best ive had at any backpackers so far.

Disliked: There is no real atmosphere to the place and it doesnt really feel like a backpackers as its so big and there are often large groups of school trips staying. Fine if your with friends, not so cool if your on your own.

Liked: the facilities available were like a hotel's. staff was extremely helpful. everything you needed was available.

Disliked: just the price, but i suppose for all the services rendered and the quality of the lodging, one could close an eye on that.

Liked: Everything!! Clean, well-decorated, great reception staff, nice neighbourhood that wasn't too far out, dorms were nice, good security (keycards for doors), breakfast included - the pictures on the website are for real and it really is as nice as it looks (which is often not the case when booking accommodation.)

Disliked: Nothing. Loved it. Would definitely stay there again.

Liked: close to easliy access public transport. the services were good. the general hostel was spacious and relaxed. highly recommend. i loved it so much i've booked it again for queensday 2012

Liked: This hostel was amazing! It was more like a nice hotel with six beds to a room than anything else. The staff was extremely helpful, and there is even an adjoining restaurant.

Disliked: The hostel was a 20 minute bus ride from the city center, but it seemed to be in a safe area.

Liked: Very professionally run, the kindest staff and even though i got there earlier that i was expected there was a very safe luggage room. Then the rooms are very clean and nice, not at all overcrowded, with a private bathroom. The breakfast served is AMAZING. A really great place to stay.

Disliked: Perhaps the location is the only negative aspect of the hostel.

Liked: rooms, staff, building, bar.

Disliked: it is 10 minutes away from central amsterdam and the tram is like 2,50 euros. a bit more to add to the budget

Liked: Free breakfast is really nice with meat, cheese :) Nice staff :)

Disliked: No secure parking closeby :( No lockers in rooms, lookers in hall cost 2€/day :( Breakfast stops early at 10am, you may want to wakeup at noon :(

Liked: This is really hostel as it must be and you normally find more in Germany, Austria, Slovenia...It is so clean, rooms are big and bright, it has really everything what the tourist needs for nice staying. And the breakfast is like in the big hotels, they trust people so much that you just drop the card in the box and you are already checked-out. And they do not take provision for paying with the credit card, neither they make a deposit for a key card. Really perfect.

Disliked: Well, it is really a little bit off the centre, but after a nice night in the town, the cool half hour walk to there is even perfect.

Liked: The accommodations are quite modern. I stayed in a 6 person room with an ensuite. Overall, it was fine. It's located about a 20 minute ride from Centraal Station.

Disliked: No free internet!

Liked: It was very clean and the room was spacious. Breakfast was great.

Disliked: Wifi is expensive. The building looks like it used to be a mental institution. The shower had no curtain/door, and you had to be careful the water didn't run all over the bathroom. You have to pay for lockers. It's a little far from the city center, and public transportation is expensive.

Liked: Very modern facilities and a very friendly staff that was always willing to help out with directions or questions and gave wonderful recommendations! Very safe hostel with good security in place.

Disliked: Not the usual hostel feel...more of a big corporation feeling, not very comfy or homey. Directions from the train station! The bus you need is actually across from the train Station in front of the Victoria Hotel. Then when you get to the bus stop you get off the bus turn left and go straight across the street if you keep straight on that street you will run into it after a "2 min walk".

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay. The loft rooms were really sweet, and I loved Zeeburg- it was so cute!

Disliked: Because you cannot enter food (because it has a restaurant), and because it´s so so far from the city centre.
