Liked: I have stayed in a couple of hostels in amsterdam and this one was way cheaper and Did not have bed bugs. The lockers were awesome and the people were interesting. Good place to stay

Liked: Funny place to stay! one of you nightboors are prostitutes and the other is a cofeeshop! there is a bit noise problem , because the hostel is located on the top of a irishpub!!

Liked: Like all hostels, as long as the people in your dorm are ok, it will be fine, They take your bags if your're too early for check in. Very friendly staff, right in the heart of red light district. Fairly safe, take a padlock although you can rent them. One down point, its very loud! Outside there is a massive church that plays songs all night and day!

Liked: It was interesting to be in the red light district. happy hour from 8-9 was pretty good. good place to meet people. no breakfast but it's cool. fun time overall. no real bells and whistles, but towels and linens are free!

Liked: right in the heart of the action, 5mins from centraal station. Dorm smelt horrendous but all the facilities are available and the bar downstairs is great for food, drinks and friendly folk, be warned it is expensive! The staff were always great and always gave the directions they must have been asked for a thousand times before.

Liked: It had lockers available which was great for security. It was in a very central location and easy to get to from the station. The showers were not very nice; very small and mostly had blocked drains so by the end of the shower you were standing in a few centrimetres of water. The toilets were also very small but the actual bedrooms were quite good size.

Liked: The hostel was really easy to find - directions were great! its really central (in red light district - but close to the train and loads of sights pubs etc......) the atmosphere was good, the rooms were clean and safe, shared bathrooms and mixed dorms dont give you a lot of privacy - but its grand - it easy to work around it and its not a big deal. the irish pub down stairs is not too lively - not too much happening - but its ok for one or two - and the food aint great in the pub either but the hostel is so central there is plently to chose from!!!

Liked: this hostel is too expensive for how basic it is. i think they charge high for their location but amsterdam is so small that you could stay anywhere and still be a short walk to the main sites and places to eat or bars..etc.. the rooms were hot like a boiler room at night and the toilets are in the hallway so the common areas were often very smelly. i advise to stay somewhere else in amsterdam.
