Liked: After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried I wouldn't enjoy my stay at the white tulip, however it turned out most of the reviews are wrong. The place is cleaned very frequently and the staff go out of their way to help you. The other travellers you will meet there will make your holiday much more enjoyable!

Liked: Great location. On the fringe of the red light district, far enough so that your not surrounded by it but close enough to explore. Close enough to the city centre to walk as well. The pub at the bottom of the hostel was great as well.

Liked: great location. i would recommend this hostel for budget travelers. plus they have free wi-fi for your laptop. only 4 shower and three toilets for over 36 people.

Liked: Good hostel but your money is only spent on location, the bedroom was very small and basic and the facilities were basic too. Overall I enjoyed the stay there however I doubt I would have for any longer than the four days i stayed.

Liked: Good location.. right in Red Light District near many bars and cafes.. We got a 2 person room, that ended up being TINY, I mean not much bigger than a closet, with bunk beds. It was very cramped. It's definitely kind of just a place to crash.. it's on a noisy street, which can be annoying unless you're a heavy sleeper.. no common "meeting" room, other than a small computer room, and no included breakfast, just a bar downstairs where you can buy food. Clean bathrooms, staff were friendly, but it was a little overpriced. Overall ok, good location, accomodations themselves and areas for meeting people were alright. This place is ok if what you want out of a hostel is a secure place in a good location to sleep, and not much more..

Liked: This was the second hostel I've stayed in. The first was a lot smaller and a lot more personal. This one was large with not much personality or personal feel. The rooms were clean enough. The room was always packed with folks so other folks things got in the way. One guy took my pillow the first night. I got another one, but a few things like that happened. All in all, I got what I paid for. The lockers were big enough for a small backpack and a small rolling back, which was good.

Liked: The Warmostratt is noisy, so don't expect a good sleep, the hostel is crowded with drunk (and smelly) teenagers throwing up all night , so don't fool yourself and if it's the kind of experience you're looking for, go for it, but if you want to actually rest, I would suggest to pay extra and get a hotel a little less ... Red Light District

Liked: Nice Hostel in the center of Amsterdam (fabulous location).Rooms are clean and bugfree, staff is nice and always available.Unfortunately there is some noise in the night, but you get used to it pretty easy.I have by now stayed there 7 times and I like it very much, it is my favourite one in Amsterdam.I would recommend it to anyone, but if you would like to have a lot of privacy and a superclean room, you might not want to stay here. In that case, you might want to look for a hotel.

Liked: It was extreamly convenient and easy to get to. We were on the top floor and when we got there, it was so hot i almost had to switch to another hotel, but by 1am it cools down so much. the sleep was pretty comfortable. I also thought it was very safe, being able to keep our own key and we had to show proof before going upstairs.

Liked: Location is number 1. But the staff was crazy nice and helpful. You get 25% off from the pub directly below the hostel which is the handiest thing ever. The rooms arent overally crowded (stayed in a 12 person-er) and there are locked lockers to use. No separate guy girl changing areas but get over it. You're in Amsterdam!

Liked: The hostel is very close to the central station and right in the middle of the downtown area. Almost everything is within walking distance. There isnt a common area to meet other travelers, but overall the stay was fine.

Liked: Great location, less than 5 minute walk from train station.. middle of red-light district, perfect for bar-hopping and lots of little take out places for good eats around. very close to everything in amsterdam. a bit boring of a layout, no chillout area for hostel but there is a restauraunt underneath the hostel and you get 25% discount and the foods great! i would reccommend for sure.
