Liked: Very good overall hostel. Must hop on short tram ride to get to the city center. One unexpected item was that the kitchens are only open from 13:00 - 22:30, so I wasn't able to prepare meals in the morning.

Liked: Its really great place to met people :) atmosphere there is pretty nice. I recommend this hostel to all young people which want to have great time in Amsterdam

Liked: I liked the bar downstairs. Cool people working there. Very helpful. You can borrow a laptop with internet for free (exchange credit card or passport) for unlimited usage time. Smokers room was enjoyed by many. Good music, cozy atmosphere in bar. Close to museums and the park.

Liked: Great staff -- very friendly! Liked the free breakfast each morning. Awesome that you can check out laptops and that there's wireless. Own storage bins in kitchen area.

Liked: There were lockers big enough for your entire backpack and more underneath the beds so you didnt have to worry AT ALL about your belongings. Nice breakfast. Bar was cool with comfy sofas and location fantastic - just a short walk to all the action (and easy tram ride to station). Staff were lovely and they lent out laptops for for free internet which was brilliant. We were in a room right next to the bar and kitchen so were a bit worried we'd get no sleep with the loud music, but couldnt hear a thing!! Kitchen IS open (we read somewhere it wasnt) but there is no free skate hire. Instead you get free towels!

Liked: There was a great area to relax downstairs, and you can use their laptops and internet for free at any time. Bed are comfortable and come with sheets so no need for sleeping bags!!

Liked: This is a nice place to meet people to go out or just to talk at the bar downstairs. It is not the most quiet hostel, but people are respectful in dorms. It was very clean and safe. Overall, a great place to have fun in Amsterdam, even if travelling alone!

Liked: First, it was a really narrow and really close house. The atmosphere was stifling too much. Just in the small room, there were 16 people. it was too much, even we didn't wanna go into the hostel for every nights. What is worse, the airconditional was broken and they didn't fix it during our stay. so it was pretty hot. even the weather was not so hot, we couldn't sleep whole of the night. The only good thing is there's a party every nignt, but for the people who wanna rest, it's horrible. when I wanted to enjoy it, it is nice party to meet people. but when i wanted to sleep, NO!! I couldn't sleep until 3 am. They never consider the people who want to sleep.
