 The flying pig is by far the best hostel in Amsterdam. It isnt the cleanest but it is clean enough.. and the place just has such an amazing vibe you wont even care.. just make sure you have your shower shoes n you´ll have the time of your life ... I never even wanted to leave the hostel and you dont have to to have a good time either!!

I liked the bunks in the rooms, The lockers next to the bed, Couldnt find the towels ? but it was fine

had double bed so i could share with my girlfriend. bathrooms and dorms were clean. has good sized lockers and also safe at reception. location is good. close to red light, shops and restaurants and only a few min walk to central station. had a great time here and hostel was really great.

The vibe of the place is exactly right: chilled, yet pumping. It's a laidback party haven. We had a great stay and would only want to stay here again when visiting Amsterdam.

This place has it all- the entire Amsterdam experience for any young traveler isn't complete without staying at the Flying Pig. I'd heard legends from those who'd been before, and made sure to visit on my travels abroad. Worth it all the way, this hostel has great music, a laid back atmosphere and is safe, clean and organized, just like your Mom would like it to be. Bring a small flashlight for dark 14-person rooms at night or in the morning though, it was pretty dark while others are sleeping.

As my first hostel experience, I was really pleased with the Flying Pig. Great atmosphere, good to meet people, perfectly adequate accommodation, I felt safe and clean! Cool music playing in the bar too!

Ideally located in the middle of all the action, shops, sights, pubs, RLD, everything that you want to see in Amsterdam is within walking distance. The atmosphere was cool, it felt like the place to be!

Most of the employees are very nice, especially the girl that my friend and I ran into while leaving the train station to find the hostel. I also like how it is not too far from the major action, while also being in the center of some bargain shops.
