If you are in the ‘don’t-want-to-mingle-tonight-and-just-want-to-watch-television-mood’ there are movies for rent. There is an open kitchen, 24 hour free WiFi and the bar is open until 3AM every night, where the bartenders sell the cheapest beers in town.

Leaving the central station, it is just a 2-minute walk to the hostel and during this 2 minute walk you will already see the many restaurants, pubs, red lights of the famous Red Light District and shops! That is the party area you’ll spend your nights in.

Flying Pig Terms and Conditions
To preserve and maintain our laid-back atmosphere we do not allow: Persons under 18 or above 40, pets, any bookings of stag nights, hen nights or sport tours, soccer fans for (inter)national matches and large groups of males (6 persons or more). In the event of a false booking, there will be no check in nor will there be a refund.

Our Maximum stay is 7 days.

When you make a reservation on our secure server, your card is charged a 10% deposit online, which is nonrefundable. On the day of arrival we will check your credit card number. If the number is not valid for any reason, your reservation will be canceled. Upon arrival you can pay with your credit card/bankcard or cash. In case you have not arrived the next day and did not cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before arrival, you will be charged for the first night.

Opening hours of the Downtown reception 8:00-23:30. When you arrive after this time, you will need to leave your passport as a deposit, which you will get back the next morning when you officially check in before 10:30 am.

You will be charged for all bookings you make, so please make sure you book at the hostel of your choice and for the dates of your choice. If you have made a reservation over the internet and you wish to extend your stay, you have to make a second reservation for the extending date(s). If there is no online availability on the extended dates, it means that all cyber beds are booked. You can still try to extend your stay when you arrive at the hostel. Subsequent nights of accommodation must be paid upon arrival.

Please make sure you cancel bookings you made at other hostels. If you don't cancel at the other Flying Pig hostels, your credit card will be charged as a no-show for the 1st night.

Cancellations or changes to your existing reservation have to be made at least 24 hours before arriving. You can do this on Monday-Thursday by e-mail. Our contact details are provided on your confirmation email sent from Hostelbookers. Always send your reservation details with your change or cancellation, so your reservation can be found in the system as soon as possible.
Only when you receive a personal reply with the confirmation of your change or cancellation, you can be sure that it has been processed. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will have to call the hostels directly. Write down the date and time of canceling and the name of the person you spoke to.

After making the reservation, you receive an e-mail, with all your booking details and a reference number. This is your confirmation. Make sure you bring this confirmation with you to the hostel that you booked with, otherwise reservation confusion will be at your own responsibility. If you do not receive a confirmation from us, you do not have a reservation.
We make every effort to accommodate you in the dormitory size of your choice. However, because of the nature of our business, we may have to place you in an alternative dormitory. As a result, the balance to be paid upon arrival might be slightly different than what is stated on your confirmation.

Bookings for 10 or more people are considered group bookings and can be made through the HostelBookers Group Booking service.

The Pig Management & Staff reserve the right to refuse accommodation to anyone.
