Liked: It was a quiet, safe place to stay, yet with in easy access of town. Staff were extremely helpful and friendy. A great beginning to the holiday.

Liked: Very helpful staff. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Very homely. Good breakfast.

Disliked: Would have appreciated soap and a plug for the washbasin in my room.

Liked: Staff was extremely helpful and nice! The room was very clean. Whole place was peaceful and quiet, great place to relax before heading out on a tour.

Disliked: Quite a bit of mosquitoes in the small room and near the pool.

Liked: Very clean, with a well equipped kitchen and decent size rooms.

Disliked: A bit quiet and the walk to town didn't feel particularly safe especially towards sunset.

Liked: It's a nice place to begin a tour around Namibia which is exactly what I wanted. I wanted to relax for a couple nights and recover from jetlag after flying from the USA. I recommend this place for that purpose. It's within walking distance of the center of town, and that's a huge plus. Stay at this place!

Disliked: My room didn't have air conditioning, and it was very hot, but it gets cool during the night, so it's not too bad.

Liked: The quiet atmosphere. The arrangments of the rooms, the swimming pool and the garden.

Disliked: That were is only one toilett and bathroom for 4 single rooms and the staff.

Disliked: A little far from the CBD. Within walking distance but a bit of a trek.

Liked: The staff are ultra-understanding when things go wrong. They go to great lengths to help get you back on track. The shared kitchen/lounge facility is perfect for travellers weary of eating out. Then, of course, there are the gorgeous dogs.

Liked: A fantastic guesthouse. Best breakfast I've had in my 9 months travels in the southern hemisphere!! Nice grounds, refreshing pool, and great areas to relax and chill, read a book in quiet and enjoy the surroundings. Staff were really helpful, polite, and the travel desk sorted out our trip to Victoria Falls. Would highly recommend.

Liked: Friendly family atmosphere, staff could not do enough to help. The rooms were clean and comfy and our stay at Rivendell was a pleasure. We cannot recommend this lodge highly enough and will stay there again.
