Loubser's Bed and Breakfast/ Self catering offer the tourist affordable accommodation in Walvis Bay. Situated in the quiet lagoon area, 350 m away from the lagoon, a declared Ramsar site and one of southern Africas most important wetlands
The B&B consist of 3 x double rooms, 2 en-suite and 1 with separate full bathroom for private use. Each room has a fridge, fan, electric under blanket in wintertime, kettle, tea/coffee, soap, towels, TV with local content.
2 x 4 bed dorm type rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each has its own fridge, small oven and cutlery .Rooms are equiped with 2 x stack beds ( max 4 people/room) and bedding are provided. Light breakfast will be served for the dorm room residents.
The Self Catering unit of an openplan design has en-suite bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen with undercounter oven, microwave, kettle, all pots and pans etc, all you need for a stay away from home. The openplan sleeping/ lounge area is presently fitted with 1 x double bed, 1 x single and a double sleeper coach. Arrangement can be changed to include more single beds.
A full lounge suite and TV with DSTV channels.
A Barbeque/TV area is available for all guests to use
Activities ranging from angling, sand boarding, quad biking, windsurfing, birding, hiking, kayacking, tandem skidiving etc can be arranged.
Tours & safaris into the Namibian Interior or along the coast and neighbouring countries can be arranged by us. We do all types of tours, camping safaris for the budget tourist to accommodated tours for the more discerning traveller.
Attractions to Walvis Bay must definitely be the wetlands with its abundance of birdlife, 200000 plus counted in summertime and it houses a lot of the migratory paleartic birds on their annual migration. Dune 7 and the dune sea between the 2 coastal towns has a unique attraction to all and also houses some of the endemic insects and birdlife of Namibia. Sandwich Harbour, important wetland is about 45 km south of Walvis Bay.4x4 vehicles only can get you there.
There are so many to name, come and visit Namibia and you will have an experience of a lifetime.
