Tourist complex Josef and Tina Is a small comfortable and affordable beachfront lodge with one guest house, three suites, three chalets, camp site and bar/restaurant situated in one of best places of Mozambican beach, in Vilanculos, Inhambane province, Mozambique; about 730 km´s north from Maputo, with beautiful views to across the sea to the romantic islands of the archipelago Bazaruto. The lodge is on the ideal site to explore exotic surroundings as well as the archipelago islands, coral reefs and experience fishing, diving and snorkeling on crystalline and warm waters of Indian Ocean.
Nice garden enable guests to relax and feel the cooling breeze from the sea.
Guest house
The guesthouse, destined to those looking for mid-range budget accommodation, with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living rooms, one dining room, fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold water, is situated already on the beach with spectacularly views to Bazaruto islands. Each bedroom has double bed, mosquito net and fan. Additional beds could be allocated in the guesthouse on your request.
Suites
Three new suites, destined to those looking for mid-range budget accommodation, each with double bed, mosquito net, fan, small kitchen, bath with hot water, are situated about 50 meters from the sea in nice and green garden.
Chalets
Three chalets, destined to those looking for cheap and clean accommodation and those they like to feel how the local population live, are build by traditional method from indigenous material (reed and grass). Each chalet has one, two or three rooms and simple but clean toilet with hot water. Each room has double bed and some of them additional single bed with mosquito nets and fan.
Camp site
Complex can accommodate about 10 tends, in nice green garden. Don’t accepted big boats.
Accommodation rates
Accommodation rates are B&B (simple continental breakfast – just bread and tea/coffee) quoted in Mozambican currency (metical). Are accepted also US$ and South African Rand, depending on actual exchange rates.
Restaurant and Bar
Meals are available in restaurant on request. Ask our cooker for menu. Our cuisine offer generally local fresh produce – fish, calamari, crabs, clams, as well as traditional Mozambican, including meals with coconut and famous peri peri) or standard western cuisine.
You can also prepare meals yourself in outdoor kitchen. Ask our cooker, barman or other people on service for kitchen utensils.
What to do:
Sailing, Fishing, Diving & Snorkeling excursions can be arranged as an ideal way of exploring the full beauty and natural richness of the Bazaruto National park Islands.
Snorkeling is done through several companies collaborating with Complexo Josef e Tina.
Traveling to Two Mile Reef to snorkel in the crystalline clear waters, climb a large sand dunes on Bazaruto island for its panoramic views, visit of Benguerra e Margaruque islands are some of preferable destinations.
Walks along the long safe beaches are an ideal way to relax an experience the beauty and tranquility of Vilanculos.
A visit to the local market, in the Village is also an experience for any foreign visitor.
The beach in front of the lodge is an ideal and safe playground for young and old, and the shallow waters are particularly ideal for young children.
