A popular local island location for short visits or a longer exotic island vacation for International and Southern African visitors that just want to do their "own-thing" and "get-a-way" from the normal daily life, while staying in one of our Self-catering (4-6 sleeper) Timber Cabins or Larger (8 sleeper) Air-conditioned Chalet Units.... the lodge is also the perfect location for divers and ideal for sporting Fishermen (Deep-sea and Saltwater Fly) as well..!!
Please note" (for "Budget Travellers" and Backpackers only) - Please take note that we do not have any "normal" Backpacker single dorm or "bed only" accommodation at this moment at the lodge - so you have to book a complete guest unit per night, so it's best to come with friends or in a "sharing" group so you can share the cost of a guest unit between you...!! - If there is only a "couple" or a few of you, you will have to purchase all the beds in a unit for each night of your stay..!
The Tropical Island of Inhaca is located only 15 minutes by plane from Maputo, or a short 2 hour ferry trip across the warm blue Maputo Bay out of Maputo Harbour, the island is famous for its garden like beaches, sea views, beach trekking walks past numerous bushy colonies of coconut trees, luxurious tropical vegetation and/or enjoying varied water related activities such as diving and fishing in warm translucent waters all year round....
Inhaca Island is a secure and tranquil location, and is quickly now a popular stopover for private international motor/yacht owners, and large ocean cruise ships in search of a tropical beach setting and exotic island alternative for a day or two while cruising around in the turquoise velvet waters of the Southern Indian Ocean.
Inhacazul Lodge can only provide exclusive accommodation for up to 56 guests in total at any one time... which therefore generates the feeling of a "private tropical island lifestyle vacation" in either one of four x 4-6 sleeper Timber Cabin units with ceiling fans or one of the four x 8 sleeper Chalets with air-con. (only 8 guest units in total.)
