Liked: Dar Jameel was an absolutely breathtaking hotel. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked in and saw the beautiful building!! Everything was very magnificent. Breakfast was included in the price, and we got tons of really delicious food and tea! Staff was incredible and friendly, and I would highly recommend Dar Jameel.

Liked: The building was pretty, especially the terrace area, and the facilities were adequate. However, the staff was not always cognizant of guests' needs or helpful in giving advice about the city.

Liked: Dar Jameel is an incredible jewel right in the heart of Tangiers medina. The staff all speak English and are incredibly helpful; when my taxi to the train station didnt arrive one of the clerks drove me there himself. The atmosphere is relaxing and quaint yet right in the center of the medina close to the large market and lots of shops. And its not all that hard to find; tell your cab driver to take you to the Hotel Continental and from the gate of that hotel simply walk straight and take your first left - youll see a sign. I would definitely stay at the Dar Jameel again

Liked: The Dar Jameel Guesthouse was the first place my friend and I stayed in Morocco and it was a lovely welcome to the country. The guesthouse is lovely and the staff were really helpful telling us good places to visit and places to eat.

Liked: Excellent character and a feeling of being in a safe haven while being in the very heart of the Medina.However, they charge a 5% fee for using a credit card to pay and although the shower and toilet were supposed to be for our exclusive use even though outside the room other visitors were told they could use them. This is not good.

Liked: The people who work there are amazing. They were very nice and very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay special. The place itself was gorgeous and way more than I had hoped for. It has a great view of the city and comfortable lounges to relax in. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I couldn't be more pleased with our stay.
