Liked: The riad was amazing. Apart from being beautiful inside, really quiet and chill, the real value of the riad is the people who work in it. They are more than kind, since the time you enter, they offer you any tea and chicha you want (and that did not happen in other riads, even though they tell you on internet). The breakfast is the best one we had, there are so many things that you can't eat them all. Our case was that we had booked from Spain two nights in this riad and another night in a different one, but after staying here we cancelled the booking of the other riad and stayed here with our friends, even though we lost some money we had paid in the other one. Over all, Ali the guy who is always at the riad, he is the kindest person I met in Marrakech, he is available for anything you want, and always want the clients to be happy and confortable. One day I asked him to come with me to buy something in a shop in a cheaper price and he helped us to buy it. He even offered us to have breakfast in this Riad the day we slept in another and save the luggage here instead of in the other place. We had a really good experience and I really recommend to come here, you will feel like at home, safe, happy and you won't want to go back home.

Liked: Fantastic hostel! Amazing group dinners! THere is a giant TV in the court which was great for watching a big european cup match and a few films to chill out to in the evening. The atmosphere is better than I could have imagined - so together and fun. It was realy hot in Marrakech but the hostel was fine. The terrace gets a breeze in the evening - you can even sleep up there. I loved it! Warning though - if you are the sort of person that prefers keys, pay, room style accommodation - you may not ike it - this si a family run place with a family run atmosphere.

Liked: Staff are absolutely very helpful with pretty much everything from towels, charger, directions, excursions etc. All travellers are all looked after in terms of mint tea and breakfast. People in the hostel is just like living with a family where Ali was my brother, Madeleine as my sister and Muda as possibly my cousin. Haha

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike about the hostel especially coming from a female solo traveller. Yep, that was me!

Liked: The staff are spectacular - it would be very easy to get stuck here and do no travelling at all! crazy beautiful decoration. terrace from heaven, filling breakfast to the point that you don't need to buy lunch! I am already planning my next trip back here - to this hostel! Big thanks to Maddy for the haircut and henna and chameleon time, and Ali for all your help in navigating the street sof Marrakech

Liked: The atmosphere in this place is what made it special. It's easy to speak to and make friends with other travellers and the staff. Due to its laid back nature, people don't want to leave and it offers the perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of nearby Djemaa el fna. The building is a piece of artwork itself, decorated traditionally and colourfully and is tucked away down a quiet side alley where you wouldn't expect it to be. The hostel even has it's own wildlife: Four tortoises and two chameleons reside here, providing a great conversation topic for newly acquainted travellers.

Liked: The decoration, te staff, the other guests - i had a great time here and felt that i had a true moroccan experience. just a couple of minutes from the square. Thanks so much especially to Ali, the owner who was extremely helpful. We and other people at the hostel spent a wonderful evening at a shisha place in the new town called 113 - owned by the same family apparently. Good times!

Liked: Such a great hostel - a wonderful welcome to Marrakech. Beautiful atmosphere and decor, and easy to meet people. Staff were really chilled and helpful and the breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hostel. I did the sahara tour organised by the hostel which was good value for money. Nice roof terrace, plenty of mint tea, great location and really good value for money. I'd definitely stay there again.

Disliked: The beds were like little futons rather than actual beds and were all very close together, and there were only 3 bathrooms for the entire hostel. Not a problem when I stayed but if the hostel was full it might feel a bit overcrowded

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The communal areas (courtyard and roof terrace) were great. The breakfast was really good, as was the (free) tea you could have at any time.

Disliked: We booked a double room with a private bathroom. The room was fine except that there was a huge damp patch in the bathroom which meant that everything smelled of damp and at the end of our three-night stay, all of our clothes felt and smelled very damp too. I felt pretty ill by the time we left. However, the rest of the hostel seemed very nice so just make sure you don't book that room!

Liked: Hello! When you book the riad marrakech rouge, there are 5 hostels possibles (but you can choose one of them on hostelbookers. I was in hostel Nira Nira by Malik, a new hostel, it was very fun, its close to the souk and the place jamaa el fna. Malik is very fun, serviable. The rooms are clean. (But there is no hammam :) ). A good adress for you!!!

Liked: The hostel has a perfect location, which was really important for me personally when I made the booking. Just a couple of minutes walking distance from main areas over nice, safe small streets. The extremly nice and helpful staff welcomes you to a small charming labyrinth with colourful decorated walls. The chilled atmophere is amazing. In the common area you can easily meet other travellers and enjoy conversations with people. The rooms are nice and clean, decorated in unique style. Our room didn't even had a window and still you can't really feel the lack of it, simply because you don't care. Bathrooms are nice and clean. As a hostel owner I was inspired for many ideas and I would definately recommend the place to everyone visiting Marrakech. Keep it going, guys! Cheers, Ali ;)

Liked: I appreciated the very attentive manager Malik. He attended to all our needs and made sure We were comfortable and happy. The bed, linens, and towels are luxurious! A nice change from some of the other places we've stayed. We also appreciated being asked how our day was every afternoon and being greeted with hot mint tea. An comments place I'd recommend to anyone.

Liked: I loved the decor, the location, the staff, everything! Whether you want to explore the Medina, have the staff help you arrange a trip outside the city, have Boushra teach you how to cook tajine or just relax with the turtles on the terrace, this is the perfect place!

Disliked: There were no lockers in the dorms and if you are staying in a private room you should bring your own padlock. There are only two bathrooms for the whole hostel, but this still does not come close to weighing up agains all the wonderful things about this hostel.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The location was very central. The breakfast and constant supply of tea was EXCELLENT. Really recommend this place to others looking for somewhere friendly and cheap to stay.

Disliked: It was a bit difficult to find but that may be due to the fact that some Moroccans seem to want to send you on a wild goose chase! Look it up on a map properly before going!

Liked: Location was great, 5 minutes walk to the medina, 30 mins to the new city. Breakfast is amazing. Free tea and shisha. Staff very helpful and friendly especially malik and ali. Great value for money. Highly recommend the 3 day Sahara excursion.

Liked: The staff was so friendly and helpful, the location great, the hostel itself so beautiful and colorful. Nice breakfast, super that they offer you tea everytime you come in, amazing rooftop and awesome pets (kameleon and turtles!). I liked everything here, amazing for young travellers!

Disliked: Nothing. It was a bit cold at night but they had blankets enough to keep us warm!

Liked: This very colourful hostel is a wonderful place to stay; very easy to meet people and the staff are always able and more than willing to help you out with whatever you want. There is also a chameleon.

Liked: The atmosphere was great, a perfect place to meet other travellers, the location couldn't be better - although you need some help to find it at first. Breakfast amazing. I recommend it to others but in some warmer months, it was VERY cold which is no one's fault. Really, a very good hostel.

Disliked: The bathrooms were horrible, beds were very small and very uncomfortable. And that's it. The rest was really good.

Liked: Absolutely great Moroccan experience! The staff were super friendly, breakfast was great, and the location was awesome, right in the old town centre. If you dont know Marrakech, get a taxi to drop you off so you are met by staff to take you to the hostel, otherwise its a little confusing. The hospitality was great with chichas and tea on the rooftop! Cool place and didnt want to leave!

Disliked: The middle flor shower was a little chilly, but the top one was nice and hot!!

Liked: Quite possibly the best place I've ever stayed. The staff are amazing and bend over backwards to help you enjoy your visit and really make you feel at home. Start the day with the amazing breakfast, take a 5 minute walk and disappear in to the souks, then return for peppermint tea and a chill with the shisha to recover and admire your new treasures. Most of the time you will bump into other guests and its fun to swap stories. Everyone was really friendly. We went on the 2 day desert tour that the hostel provide and it was great value for money and an awesome experience. The security is very good. you get a padlock for your room and the front door is always secure. there is a member of staff there 24/7 to let you in. fantastic value cant recommend it enough.

Liked: The Riad is a very Social place. Especially with Christmas and New Year there was a nice party organised. The rooftop is a very good place to watch over Marrakech.

Disliked: It was quite cold in the evenings. A heater would have been nice. The shower did not work a few days in a row. Quite unpleasant when it was also cold in the morning.

Liked: It was the perfect location, everyone was so nice and you were able to meet people from all over the world. The people working were amazing always there to help and making sure everything was ok. This was the best hostlel I have ever stayed at and would stay there again.
