Liked: If there was an award for boutique style hip hostel, then Equity point would win in all categories. Equity Point combines the 'explorative spirit' of a hostel with the quality of a premium hotel and the resulting sleek, contemporary property retaining traditional Moroccan archetecture in central Marrakech is a haven for hostelling 'style-seekers'. A sanctuary of calm on the edge of the chaotic Djemaa el-Fna, Equity Point is a characterful riad-style hostel with true ornate Moroccan style. Stay here with confidence. Very easy to find, just follow the simple directions. Truely a unique home away from home.

Liked: Huge breakfasts and very good food. Wi-fi is slow as everywhere in Morrocco so don't rely on the Internet to book or plan things. Very helpful staff, very clean hostel. Cold at night, ask for extra blankets. Terrace on the roof is beautiful. Had a hard time to get there in the medina the first time, though. Just ask for the detailed indications before you get there if you don't want little kids to charge you money to show you the way...Careful if you book tours, the receptionist forgot to inform the tour company and I had to make the other guy call in the morning. I still got the tour but that was fortunate they were not overbooked...

Liked: This is probably one of my two all time favorite hostels. Aside from being a little hard to find because it's smack dab in the middle of the labarynthine Medina, Equity Point was awesome. The rooms are great, the atmosphere is incredible, the breakfast was the best I've had at a hostel, and the rooftop terrace was wonderful. We ended up being there on a holiday when everything was closed, but the staff was super helpful and did all they could to organize a tour or excursion of some sort for us. A+ for this hostel. Should I ever return to Marrakech, I will definitely stay here.

Liked: one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in- more like a hotel than a hostel, great value, brilliant location and very helpful staff. Go with a smile and an open mind and you wont be disappointed- the location was great so close to the main square and right in the heart of the souks but this does mean its very easy to lose so for first time visitors i'd suggest an airport pick up as I found it hard to find on the first vist. Other then that- amazing :-)

Liked: Roof terrace was nice..and close to town.8 bed dorm is way nicer than the 6 or 4 bed dorms...so, stay in those.

Liked: beautiful building, right near the main square. breakfast is great and staff are friendly and helpful. the only thing i disliked about this place was the group of young men that were constantly hanging around outside the front door, very disconcerting for a girl travelling alone and having to face them 85% of the time you entered the hostel.

Liked: best hostel i ever stayed in during my trip around the world... its in comparison even cheap including breakfast linen and towels, besides beeing a beautiful riad with courtyard and roof top terrace...... i have never met so helpfull staff besides tours and amd information stuff they help you underdstand the mentality and the rythm of the country with is important in marocco. best adress to start your trip

Liked: I've had a great time here! The location is perfect, in the medina and close to the square. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the riad itself is beautiful! The view from the rooftop is great, especially in the (early) morning and just before sunset. It's a good place to meet people from all over the world.

Liked: Nice place but it rained one day and the rain water leaked severly into our rooms and all of our backpacks and everything in them got soaked and the staff did not do much to help us out with this.

Liked: Very pleasant and helpful staff! Very good quality furnishings in an amazing newly renovated building. Even if toilet & shower room was one floor up, I am pleased I stayed in the 8 beds dorm, was well worth it, as an ex palace room, there's plenty of space and has a geat feel. I was for one night in a 4 bed dorm and it was a bit hot without air conditioning but again all very luxurious and clean for a hostel, well worth it!! Many thanks!
