Liked: The authenticity of the hostel, just like a typical morrocanhome, rooms were lovely, wish i had booked another coupleof nights.

Liked: warm atmosphere. They turn the wifi off late at night though, which is bad. There should be wifi throughout the entire property, not just the lobby.

Liked: We changed hostels after being waaaaaaaaaaaay too hot during the day and night at another well rated hostel. After the hour + wait to check in (very testing times!), we were shown to our immaculate room that looked more like a hotel than a hostel (overlooking the POOL too). The pool sets this place apart... it is a MUST have in Marrakech in summer when you are hit with 40+ degree temperatures during the day. The pool is a great place to meet people and the terraces are super modern with amazing views and also provide another meeting place with fellow travellers.The cherry on top was the breakfast: hot pancakes, juice, coffee (actually half decent!), bread, cheese and jam was tasty option that saves you from having to go searching for some form of food in the medina 1st thing in the morning...

Liked: The pool was amazing!! Breakfast great!! It was a perfect place to meet alot of travelers, the communal areas were set up really well, so that it was very easy to meet other travelers. They cleaned rooms everyday.. Staff were lovely and friendly.. I stayed in 3 hostels in Marrakech, and this was the best by far..

Liked: This is clearly the best hostel ive ever stayed in and believe me, ive stayed at quite a few! My stay in Marrakech will always hold a dear place in my heart now, only because of the lovely people i met at this hostel. Thank you so much for giving me such a fantastic time. Liked: This hostel has HUGE and many living areas. Unfortunately there wasn´t much of a vibe when I was there, people really only used the place as a hotel, a place to sleep. The staff were not the easiest to deal with, one guy told me they didn´t have maps, wtf?, and they don´t organise any tours or events themselves. but they will book tours into the desert for you.

Liked: The hostel is great and was rated best hostel in Africa for 2008 which is a big accomplishment. I still think you should stay there over any other hostel in Marrakech, but you should just know ahead of time the couple disappointments that I found: the doors have no locks on them, although the hostel does provide small lockers in the reception room. We had a lot of mosquitoes in our room which I guess is unavoidable and the hostel provides fans in the closets that you can use which help with the heat. The directions provided to find the hostel were a little unclear, it's pretty hard to find. If a local helps you find it, they will expect some money. Other than these little complaints, the hostel is great! The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, and it has a beautiful courtyard, pool, rooftop terrace, and free delicious breakfast in the mornings from 8am-10am. Can't beat the value!

Liked: A charming place with friendly and helpful people in a great city!! Situated right in the middle of the souk it is still very peaceful and you can enjoy the sun on the terrasse or flee from the african heat with a swim in the pool!!

Liked: The place is huge and the atmosphere is excellent. The breakfast is simple but delicious. The staff is very friendly. It is located very close to the main square of the city (Djemma el Fna), but the maziness of the place makes it a bit difficult to find the hostel. 5-star service. I definitely recommend it.

Liked: This really is a great hostel but it's really poorly run. Great rooms and communal areas but the staff just aren't committed to providing everything the website advertises. I still had a great time here but you do expect a bit more for what you pay to stay here.

Liked: i have come back here three times now, it is my central point for my adventure. best hostel i have ever been to, REALLY. staff are super nice, the girls who work here are super cordial, everything about it is perfect. yes, it does cost a lil more than the rest, but you certainly get what you pay for. i would move in.

Liked: Extremely difficult to find, but once you find it, it's great. Many cheaper places exist, but it was a great idea to book here for the first night at least, depending on your comfort level.

Liked: it is located in the perfect position, right in the centre of the old medina. the hostel is authentic and boasts character. the terrace was especially beautiful during the day and night and a great way to meet other people staying in the hostel.
