Liked: Clean rooms and "private" bath in the dorm instead of shared bath for all dorms

Disliked: Staff could have been friendlier, but it's also hard to provide a personal service to everyone when there's so many people in one hostel

Liked: after a confusing first night, finding the place was easy. the hostel provides a good description on how to get here. they are friendly and helpful. a simple but nice breakfast is provided each morning. internet is free and you can wait to get on a computer in the lobby where pillows are sprawled about for your pleasure. beds are made each morning and rooms are continuously cleaned. Incredible place to stay on a budget

Disliked: my shower was not in the room i stayed in, the door didn't lock and the shower had no pressure.

Liked: Cool place to meet people... and the location is right by the square...

Disliked: It's super hard to find and no taxi can drop you off right at the door... everyone including myself that I talk too got hussled by some kids in order to get to the door. Also for some reason there was a few peoples stuff that went missing...nothing big..i.e. t-shirts, stretch pants... but it was a bit weird

Liked: beautiful hostel in the middle of the souks, close to the night markets for dinner with swimming pool and rooftop bar which is great for meeting people, esp. in the summer months. clean rooms, and fresh O.J. at breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommended accommodation!!!

Disliked: more computers for internet accesss needed in lobby as had to wait a lot of the time, but this is only a small things, as internet was free!! overall, wonderful hostel.

Liked: The hostel was beautiful, very traditional Moroccan decoration, lovely spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious and there was a great atmosphere helped by the rooftop bar and the lounge in the reception. Staff were very helpful and overall was a fantastic hostel, will be staying there next time I'm in Marrakech and would reccomend it to anyone.

Liked: Excellent for character, cleanliness, friendliness, location and value for money. The rooftop terrace and cafe are lovely, and I found it a wonderful place to meet people where I otherwise wouldn't have.

Disliked: Equity Point can be a little difficult to find when you first arrive, but it's absolutely worth the effort :D I didn't hear particularly good things about the tours however, so maybe they are something to be organised outside of the hostel.

Liked: The decor and "hang out" areas are very impressive. The set up is cool--I like the couches and lots of seating areas. The place has a lot of character and an authentic Moroccan feel. I also liked being close to the main square, but that means walks back late at night are not enjoyable.

Disliked: Getting to it does not feel safe. The bathroom for the 8 person dorm was unacceptable. The shower is completely dark at night--the light was not even coming on completely, and I could barely see. The 8 person dorm also has ZERO lighting. It is impossible to see in that room, even in the daylight. That is absolutely unheard of to me--I cannot imagine anyone enjoying a stay beyond one night in a place where there is zero lighting. Also, there was absolutely no "chef" on hand to cook for us. The roof area was really neat, but it was always dark and closed. The door was usually shut.

Disliked: It was in an unsafe area. The hostel itself is loud and you can hear employees playing their music. It is not clean. The hostel really would be a better hotel and not for people sharing rooms.

Liked: This was the most beautiful hostel I've ever stayed in, gorgeous common areas, a pool, great rooftop space. The breakfast was also fantastic.

Disliked: The only thing that came up was not having a place to hang out at night without feeling like we needed to be really quiet.

Liked: the location, atmosphere and services were incredible. great value for the price.

Disliked: some of the lockers did not lock, but the hostel was super safe, so it did not end up being a problem. also, they had no record of my booking.

Liked: Stunningly beautiful interior, a really gorgeous bulding behind an anonymous door in a wall. Added bonus was the swimming pool area, an oasis away from the crowded souks. Excellent value for money, very good breakfast and dining area. Nice simple bedrooms, clean bathrooms. Safe to leave bags. We had a full morning before a late afternoon flight, hostel was happy to let us leave bags after we checked out so we could explore area, and also sit in the lovely communal area to rest before setting off.

Disliked: Very noisy probably due to layout of riad, sound echoes round at night like a railway station. The mosque next door wakes you up around 5am with a booming voice calling to prayer. Take your earplugs and an eye mask. Also the location was quite scary, wouldn't go down those alleyways alone especially at night. Difficult to locate the front door - a more prominent sign on the door would help.

Liked: Everything, this hostel is like a palace. They have multiple lounges, computers, a TV, a pool, and kittens to play with. The view from the roof is amazing, and the staff are relaxed and very friendly. I went for a stay of 8 nights and had the best time. Easily one of the best hostels i have every stayed in. Period.

Liked: this is without a doubt one of the best hostels around. i loved all the comfortable spaces there were to relax. every corner you turn there are huge cushions and pillows to lay on, wonderful for vacation. i really enjoyed playing with the kittens in the lobby also.

Disliked: the only 2 things i disliked were how everything in the hostel shut down around midnight and we had to be quiet, and i think the bar could have served more drinks. no big deal though. i know the culture in marrakech does not focus at all on alcohol, but tourists that stay at the hostel definitely would appreciate a few cold beers while laying in the hot sun on the rooftop.

Liked: Beautiful place to stay, higly recomended! Its a nice spot, right in the medina in the souks, couldnt be better. But it can be hard to find, you have to walk some meters trough a narrow alley, first time that was quite scary. There are lights thought, but we weren't sure we walked the right way. But didn't felt unsafe after the first time.

Liked: Equity Point is a fantastic company to stay with. This hostel offers all the decor and culture of Marrakech without any dirtiness or insecurity one might expect from Morocco. This was by far my favorite hostel of our trip and I highly recommend it.

Disliked: The first time walking to the hostel, there were no signs to guide you...but the walk ends up being really simple.

Liked: Great breakfast, refreshing pool but for an extra few euro there are far superior riads to stay in Marrakech that don't have bed bugs.

Disliked: Bed Bugs! And heaps of them - we were moved three times in one night but to no avail - each room had an infestation that seemed to come alive as soon as you lay your head on the pillow! Yuk!
