Liked: Very friendly and efficient staff. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Good facilities. Children enjoyed the pool. It felt like a very professional set up. We loved it.

Disliked: Room was very hot, we didn't feel we could open the window as it was out onto a corridor. Would benefit from bars on window so you can open them when you sleep, and even just a fan would have been good. Quite noisy as it is a Riad, therefore all rooms open onto courtyard. I would recommend earplugs.

Liked: Equity Point is probably the best hostel i've ever stayed at. Great Atmosphere, the whole place is a sensory eyeful, very trendy for a hostel! The pool was amazing, I personally thought this way the best part of the hostel - getting to chill in the sun after a huge tour. Staff where extremely friendly and helpful. Had all facilities you could want, even free internet which I loved. Bed was comfortable, room very clean!

Disliked: The only downside to this wonderful hostel was the bathroom. The tiles where leaking water. Also the shower didn't drain very fast, so it filled up with water very quickly and woul not drain. Also the water kept cutting out on my shower which bothered me a little.

Liked: Not only were the staff very friendly and helpful, but the location was great and the facilities were fabulous too. We ate in the hostel a couple of times (the bbq) and the food was great!! A little more expensive than the stalls on the market square, but well worth it.

Disliked: There were 9 of us staying there so we'd booked the 12 bed dorm, but they ended up splitting us up into two rooms which was a bit annoying, Then there was water leaking out of the wall in our room so we were moved from that one into a smaller dorm with no discount at all. Also the rooms that are overlooking the pool can be a bit noisy at night, especially if you've been up for 36 hours and all you want is sleep!!! Despite this however, we all really enjoyed our stay and I'd definitely go there again, it was well worth the extra 6€ a night compared to some of the other smaller hostels.

Liked: The beds are great - surprisingly good mattresses and pillows for a hostel. Although the dorms do have bunk beds, there is plenty of headspace for both top and bottom beds, and very sturdy ladders. The location is great too, but definitely watch the youtube video on how to find the place, it is hidden away. It is also very quiet for such a central location. Security is good too, with lockers in most the rooms (50Dh deposit for a key) and a security guard outside the hostel at night. Met a lot of great people too, although it is off season so the hostel isn't packed at the moment. In short, it's the money, cleanliness and comfort of a decent hotel with the socialising aspect of a hostel.

Disliked: For Morocco, it is expensive. If you're on a short holiday it's worth it for the comfort, but if you're travelling long-term it's a lot of extra money.

Liked: we have stayed at this hostel 4 times its got a great atmosphere and recently been enlarged adding more rooms and a swimming pool its very clean good food and right in the medina, plenty of hot water good advice from staff and we are 54 and 69 and always made welcome never had a problem with our age there and we will be going back...........thats a definate...........

Liked: The location and cleanliness, friendly staff

Disliked: It's a must stay place if your visiting Marrakech. Recommended Riad Amazigh (equity point) to a couple I met on my last night. I stayed there last year and the pool is a great addition. The staff are great and made ne feel right at home, special thanks to Zak, Dominic, Xavier and the young lady that checked me in and was on when I left unfortunately I didn't get your name.

Liked: Beautiful Moroccan decorations, extra friendly staff, a lot of space to socialize.

Disliked: I think a good idea would be to introduce a little bit of diversity in the breakfast menu. I would suggest to keep the same menu, but to alternate it with one other. Otherwise, the experience was fantastic!

Liked: AAAAaaahhh!!! Where to start, this place is incredible! The staff are all amazingly helpful and friendly, curteous in every way and made the stay great. They were always willing to help point us in the right direction and give outlines on what we should be paying. The entire building from the pool, to the rooms, to the roof terrace were all maticulously cleaned every day. We met so many new friends here which I never expected and I have to say we'll always be friends it was amazing to chill up by the pool after dinner on the roof with new friends. Oh and the desert tour we had set up was probably at one of the best prices in town, the hostel was happy to hold our luggage whilst we were away on the excursion at no extra charge.

Disliked: It is at the more costly side of the scale for morocco, however in comparison to hotels its well worth it, I'd rather share an ensuite here than stay in any other hotel. Like every Riad in Marrakech the place is near on impossible to find, we got hassled by people who offered to show us the way but for a high price. Best bet to find the place is read the directions carefully before leaving because the streets get confusing.

Liked: Amazing Building. Most beautiful hostel i've ever stayed in with the court yard, swimming pool, roof terece, engravings and lamps. Very authentic. Felt like a hotel. Lots of different areas to relax in with sofas and pillows. Great location in walking distance to the main square.

Disliked: The shared shower for the 8 bed dorm is very basic - just one cold shower in a sparce concrete room and you have to go upstairs, right alongside the breakfast room to get to it. There are also no luggage lockers in the large dorm so you had to trust your fellow travelers. But all the other dorms have ensuits and lockers, so if you pay more, you get better facilities. However i have to add that the 8 bed dorm did have a lot of moroccon character with tents over the beds and coloured glass windows. So if i went back, if probably still choose that room. Only other comments - ques could be long at reception and the aribic keyboard on the computers was very confusing!!
