Riad was located inside medina which is very good if you are fancy to go for shopping on the big square. This place is not easy to find on the map but as you get there you will be given very detailed map by manager. Generally very good experience.

I've found manager and his staff very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast and walking distance from Djemaa el-Fna. I'd like to recommend camel riding, you will love it. Good value for money.

In all honesty I find this Riad hard to fault. The rooms are a reasonable size, nicely decorated and well priced; the roof terrace is beautifully presented and the breakfast (included) was very good. If i had to find fault, it would be that the location isn't super cental, but still, it is a pleasant 15 minute stroll to Djemma El Fna, which is made all the more simple thanks to the annotated and illustrated hand drawn map, that the owners supply and talk you through over a pot of mint tea on arrival. And as I am on the subject of the owners, I’d just like to say a special thanks to Thierry and Thierry who were both incredibly kind and helpful and made our stay so enjoyable.

The location in the middle of the Medina is perfect.

Lovely atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. The Riad is located around 20mins walk from the square, making it very easy to get lost in the maze like Medina. The hosts though do provide an excellent map, and to be honest the route is easy enough to learn and is all part of the fun.

I loved the bright and warm colours of the riad's decor. Also, the owners and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us.

We enjoyed our time in Riad Ghallia very much. The ownwer and his staff were very pleasant, helped us with every question we had. We met nice and interesting people there. And the location was wonderful, short ways to many sights and interesting places, like djema el fna, the souks, musee de marrakech...

A very nice place to stay in Marrakech. Good value for money. We stayed in this hostel for a week and enjoyed the great atmosphere and the wonderful terrace. The way to the city was quite long and difficult for the first time. Take a tax when you arrive! Very nice Stuff. The Breakfast was good but everytime the same food.

The owner is very helpful and has lots of useful tips to help you enjoy your stay and feel safe and make the most of everything. The terrace is lovely and the breakfast is plentiful.

Riad Ghallia is an absolute pleasure. The owner Thierry welcomes you as if you are a friend. The rooms are clean, spacious and excellent value for money. The location is great, breakfast on th terrace is amazing and the advice that Thierry gives is invaluable. The next time I go ack to Marrakech, I will not be going anywhere else.

This place is gorgeous but staying in the middle of August when there is no air con was probably a mistake, could not sleep. The roof terrace was lovely and we felt very at home. Lovely bathrooms.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Ghallia. We cannot praise Thierry and his staff enough. We were greeted with breakfast and a comprehensive introduction. Transfers, tours and washing were arranged, nothing was too much trouble. In four and a half months travelling around Europe, the hospitality of Riad Ghallia has been unrivalled.

the staff were fantastic and gave really helpful maps and advice to help us get around. there was always someone there, but discreetly. the food was delicious, and it's easy to get to the main square-about a 15 minute walk.

the staff were SO helpful. We would have struggled a lot without their advice, tips, maps and information. The taxi even waited for 4 hours at the airport at 5am to collect us when our flight was delayed (if flying with atlas blue/royal air maroc, this is expected!) Breakfast provided was the best by far out of all the hostels we stayed in.
