Michael GlynnThe owners, the dog, the ambience, the decor - in fact just about everything. All in all, the Riad is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. |

Susanna KlaymanThe decor was gorgeous, the owner of the hostel was fantastic - friendly, fun and extremely helpful. You feel totally looked after there. A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I'd go back there in a heartbeat and I will recommend it to anyone I know going to Marrakesh in the future. |

YVONNE WESTONI liked Thierry the owner. He was very helpful and did everything he could to make the stay enjoyable. The Riad was very nice and the breakfasts, although they obviously were not what we normally eat in England, eg; egg and bacon, we freshly cooked and tasty. |

SIMON JAMES HARGREAVESGreat friendly staff and more like a guest house than a hostel. Walking in was like being in a little oasis and the roof top was to die for. |

Katie MeyersThis was a fantastic place to stay in Marrakech, and would strongly recomend it to anyone travelling in the area. As soon as you walk through the doors Thiery and Thiery are so helpful, and really ensure you get the most out of your stay in the city. The riad is absolutely gorgeous, I have never stayed anywhere so cool, the morrocan interior design is stunning, definitely better than a boring hotel. The staff at the Riad are lovely, and you really feel like you're leaving family when you go, especially their beautiful dog cookie, and zaira's brilliant crepes for brekkie. |

TRISTAN TANThierry, the host, is simply fantastic! He really looked after us, pointing us in the right directions, going out of his way to help us book tours and transportation, etc...not to mention his cute dog cookie... The hostel was impeccably clean and the rooms were very cosy and full of character... We had such an amazing time!!! I HIGHLY recommend Riad Ghallia to anyone thinking of staying in Marrakesh! It's worth the ten minute walk to the main square (Jma el-Fna)! |

Ben KerslakeIt is very rare to find accommodation that makes you feel totally relaxed and welcome. Riad Ghallia is such a place. The property was always clean and the layout of the communal areas was excellent. Our room was simple, yet sumptuous and massive. The bathroom was great. There was always hot water, and the shower was spacious. Plenty of room at the basin as well. The roof top terrace was brilliant in the morning and evenings for relaxing and chats. There was a good view from here to the Atlas mountains and all around the town. Breakfast on the terrace was always well supplied and a full glass of fresh orange juice greeted us every morning. Breakfast was available anywhere from early to late morning, which took the stress out of waking up too late. This Riad is a tranquil oasis amongst the exciting frenzy of Marrakech. Our host Thierry was really helpful especially with tips on battering and he provided the best map of the souks and square. Thanks also to Zaiera and Mohammed. |
