If you are arriving from the bus stop at Place de Foucauld, cross these gardens and enter Djemaa El Fna Square, keeping the Maroc post office on your right, keep walking through the square and don't take any side streets. Keeping the terraced cafes on your right and the orange juice stands on your left, keep walking straight between these, pass the Chez Chegrouni Restaurant on your right. Keep on going straight and the road narrows and has an undercover walkway, which is the start of Derb Debachi. When the undercover finishes, turn left at the second street on your left, Derb Moulay Abdelkader, it is not signposted . This street has an undercover of vines, follow this briefly and take the first right. Follow this for about 50m and take the first on your left. The hostel is about 20metres on the right hand side of this street, number 38 clearly marked on the front door.

The nearby small shops all know the place and are helpful if you ask along the way for directions. You may be approached by childen who will offer to show you the way and will ask for money for their help. If you do choose to accept their help, it is reasonable to offer up to 10dirhams although they may ask you for up to 100 for their help,
