Customer reviewgreat moroccan riad, great location, on the edge of the medina, about a 10min walk to main square. beautifully decorated, great breakfasts, very friendly and helpful people. some bad points were the lack of lock on bedroom doors - we used a backpack combination lock on ours as we naturally did not want to leave our room open with all our valuables in there! also, lots of other residents we met from Riad Massin and from the other Riads owned by the same person were unhappy with their bookings - there were quite a few mix ups, lack of accomm upon arrival even though it had been booked in advance on hostelbookers etc. so, some people were sent to other riads, and one couple ended up staying in the home of one of the employees! I would strongly recommend to call the Riad several times in advance in the run up to your stay. the owners also run days trips to the Atlas mountains or 3 days trips to the Sahara. overall, we were very happy, it was very clean, friendly and we would definitely stay there again. |

chris mitchellThe hosts were really friendly and accomodating. It was a shame were only staying for two nights, we would definately go back there as we felt very confortable and welcome. A brilliant location not far from the square but far enough away to feel the serentiy of staying in a riad at the heart of Marrakech. I would recommend this place to anyone planning on staying in the city. |

John FilesActually stayed at the Massin II which is near the souk in the centre of Marrakech. About 5 mins to the main square. Great breakfast to start the day and the rooms are cleaned daily. Hassan, who runs the place, couldn't be more helpful with tips and suggestions to make your stay more enjoyable. Quite a small riad with only 5 rooms and a central courtyard where you can sit and chat with other travellers to pick up more ideas about what to do during your stay. Also has a roof terrace which is nice for lounging in the sun. Can't fault the place. |
