The decor was lovely though in the rooms its really dark as there are no windows but thats the way all riads are designed. It also makes them noisy in relation to everything that goes on inside the riad, people talking, cleaning and cooking its all amplified which for me a light sleeper meant not one good nights sleep. It was empty when we were there so it lacked any real atmosphere.

Friendly reception, extending out info on Marrakech. The owners like to use it to make guests feel. Good location right in the Medina and still a fairly quiet street. Good breakfast, more variety in what could be made. Insufficient lighting in the bathroom.

A short walk away from the main square, this Riad is absolutely beautiful (the photos don't do it justice) and a tranquil escape from the hectic pace and heat of Marrakesh. The breakfast is worth the cost of the room alone and being able to enjoy it on the roof terrace is a lovely start to the day. Showers/baths are excellent and used often to soak tired muscles.

The hotel / Riad Lakdar was a fantastic place to stay in Marrakech. Its location, is really convenient for those who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the medina after a long day of walking in the souks. At the same time it is very close to the main square and it doesn't lose any of the charm assigned to staying in the centre of the old city. The owner and staff are really friendly and helpful, hot water in the shower is available at any time during the day. If you don't want to eat outside, the delicious home made dinner is available right on the spot. You can even have a belly dancer come and teach you the moves! We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely recommend it to others.

the riad lakdar jebel, is a magical and magnificent place in the middle of the medina. As you arrive to the place you feel as if the beutiful marrocan decoration takes you away in the magic of morroco. the service is very personal the owner mahjoub is on top of your every request and provides your every need in his Riad. Every corner of the riad is beutifully decorated and comfortably built. every room in this hotel has its own personality with great spaces and beutiful marrocan decoration . the common rooms in the riad make you wanna stay all day in it. the home made food was the best over all restaurants visited in marroco.. i give it a 10/10 in price over quality. i had a great time.

I have been traveling for 5 months and this has been the best experience I have had in any country. 100%. Mahjoub is a gentlemen and will help you stay comfortable. The Riad is a quiet oasis from the busy city, and it is sooooo relaxing. HIGHLY recommend. Also use his pick up from the airport or else you might have trouble finding it!

The location was great and the riad was beautiful. You can eat breakfast indoors or on the terrace, which I preferred when it was warm and sunny.

Riad Lakhdar was a lovely little riad just five minutes away from the main square. Traditionally furnished and offering a simple, but very filling breakfast of bread, pastries and tea, the location was great with the main square just a five minute walk away. The only downside was the noise factor. We were given a room underneath the stairs and it was fairly noisy in the late evenings and mornings when people were going to their rooms. We were also directly off the main living area which kept us up when people were chatting and hanging outside of their rooms late at night. If possible, I'd request a room upstairs which wouldn't have been affected so much. Other than that, the bathroom was enormous and the rooms comfortable sized. The riad also had a nice, sunny terrace with a very friendly neighbourhood cat, and was a nice place to take a break from the bustle outside.

It's quiet and cosy. It's really good located at 3 minutes walking between the Square Jma lFna and the Kotubia Mosque. It's clean enough and very confortable. The breadfast is included in the price and abundant with a great natural orange juice, coffe, te, bread with butter and jam, flat cakes and buns... Really enjoyable
