Liked: Gret place to stay in the Atlas Mountains - this is a short walk up the hill from the taxi with great views of the valley from the roof. Breakfast included and great three course tagine dinner available cheaply. Heating very good (and needed in November when we went). Trekking can be arranged easily and internet available.

Liked: Great view from the terrace on the High Atlas Mountains! Having breakfast there is amazing, it is good, even with eggs and Nutella what u don´t get in other hostels. The rooms are nice and clean and the guy who is responsable for the hostel is very friendly! We loved to stay there and just relax on the terrace after climbing on Toubkal :)

Liked: Really nice and helpfull staff...it was like beeing one big family. A perfect place as a base for seeing the High Atlas mountains.

Liked: This is the nicest hostel we stayed in, it is in a really beautiful location with a lovely roof terrace. There is tea making facilities in the rooms and the dinner was delicious. We also liked the salon with the log fire. The owner arranged a overnight trek which I'd definitely recommend as opposed to a one day trek as the guide cooked lunch for us overlooking the mountains and we had a lot more time to look around.

Disliked: It was quite expensive but I think this is ok as there were alot of good facilities.

Liked: Great Location with views of the valley. Make sure you have dinner while stayinf there, in my opinion the best Tagine in Morocco.

Liked: Houssine and his family are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but attractively furnished and the slippers that were provided to wear around the guest house are a nice touch. Dinner was lovely - the tagines were the best we tasted in Morocco. The roof terrace was a beautiful place to put your feet up, relax and watch life going on in the Berber villages and houses dotted on the nearby hillsides; or to sit out under the stars in the evening.

Liked: It was a very relaxed place. It was also nice to be able to have a dinner around the fire and talk to other fellow travellers and share experiences. We also arranged transfers from and to Marrakech to the guest house which worked out well.

Liked: Excellent location, really helpful and friendly staff. A humble Moroccan experience in a Berber village and Guest house. A good place to meet other travellers to share stories and a laugh over a very generous evening meal.

Liked: incredibly beautiful location, amazing views from the roof where you can eat breakfast and dinner.The food is amazing, have dinner there. really tasty and fantastic value for money. the rooms are lovely, really clean with everything you might want in the room! The hostel owner, Hussain was really helpful, advised us on routes to take for walking in the mountins which are right on the doorstep of the hosel.Highly recommended!

Liked: What a marvelous place to stay. Very cosy. Eight guests and the place is full! Hussain is a wonderful host. So helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. He will organise any sort of treck or excursion you choose, ( everything is negotiable) and is himself a mountain guide. He likes to chat in the evening with the guests in the sitting room, and will hang around until somebody invites him into the conversation! The fire needs re- making regularly after sun down, when the temperature drops considerably, as it tends to go out a lot (inefficient moroccan chimney), so gathering wood and fire building is good pass-time for boys of all ages! (but this is by no means expected of the guests!!) Hussain's wife cooks the food, which whilst not very varied, is excellent. We'd recommend the lamb tagine. The rooms are simply furnished with all the necessary basics, including slippers, jelebas and a hairdryer and curling brush!! Our room had ensuite with bath and shower, and there was hot water almost all the time. There were no curtains or blinds . . . but the jelebas, when hung on the window frame, just happened to fit perfectly over the little arabic windows! Breakfast on the roof terrace is a delightful way to start the day, before a hike up the mountain pass. However, do not expect housekeeping . . . it won't happen! You have to make your own bed here!

Liked: Excellent in every respect. The personal attention paid by the owner and his family was commendable and made our holiday a memorable stay. The breakfasts and evening meals were both substantial and of an extremely high quality. I have no hesitation whatsover in recommending this hostel to others. Excellent.

Liked: I did like our host "housaine" and his family who were incredibly friendly and hospitable...and very very helpful in providing accurate information about the surroundings. I also did appreciate the interest in helping us with transportation. The food was amazingly good and served very warm and the confort level in the hostel is high. We felt as if we were home, with clean bed, pillows and covers. Nice detail in the room with a smal table on which there were a waterboiler, coffee, sugar and powder milk. We also had a heater inside so no worries for cold. Not to be omited is the cheminea in the living room which provided heat in a delightful atmosphere. Nice terrace on which a rich breakfast was served on the last (sunny) day. Beautiful area surrounded by mountains. The prices were very affordable considering the service and the hospitality. All in all, I was very satisfied with my journey in the atlas mountains, considering the beautiful nature, the quality that this hostel offered and the kindness of our host. I recommend it to everyone seeking adventure, breath taking nature, in a clean and confortable place, at a reasonable price.

Liked: nice owners; offer good homecooked food; no heating in the bed rooms, so expect to sleep with your wooly hat on! showers could need some fixing...water pressure basically vanished on the third day, so we decided to skip the shower on the day we left! owner, however, is going to open four new rooms...so this is maybe the last rating for the old rooms.
