Welcome to comfortable guest house in Imlil, the start point of most trips toward the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco begun Toubkal ascent which is the highest peak in North Africa. Discover the cozy atmosphere of a peaceful mountain retreat in the heart a Berber village 1,5hrs drive from Marrakesh.

The warm and very friendly welcome by Houssine and his team makes this accommodation special. Tea and coffee making facilities. We have nice salon for sitting with fire place.

You can reach the house just 1h30 drive from Marrakesh airport by a private transport arranged normally by Houssine or a public taxi with own arrangement from the airport or the Medina.

What can we do there?
Most people come for a mixture of reasons and sometimes couples come for different reasons – one wants to relax and the other perhaps trek and reach the summit of Toubkal:
Sit and watch the way of life go by of the Berbers of the High Atlas .
They come to go trekking either full or half day treks from the guest house Ouassaggou returning each day or longer overnight treks either to outlying villages,
A 2 day 1 night expedition to North Africa’s highest peak Jbel Toubkal.

The Dar Ouassaggou offers 6 ensuite rooms in our guest house: all rooms with hot showers and towels and heating .......one large Berber salon for relaxation and free time. Accommodation includes breakfast.

Location Information

You can reach the house in just 1h30 drive from Marrakech airport by a private transport arranged normally by Houssine or a public taxi by own arrangement from the airport or the Medina.

60km from Marrakech in the direction of the High Atlas Mountains (Jbel Toubkal 4165 m). From Imlil you take the left dirt road direction of Tizi Ntamatert in face of Douar Ait Souka. Near the road you will find the guest house.
