The hotel is nice but the staff really do try to rip you off! We were quoted 1 or 2 euro for one load of washing and were charged over 30 euro! There is no internet in the room as advertised just wifi

On the surface the hotel was all I would expect of a 3 star hotel. Price was reasonable the room wasn't massive but adequate. However the staff were out to rip you off when ever they could, I tried to meet up with friends in the old town. The staff didn't know where it was but they some how thought that I was going to go and stay there and told me the place I was trying to go was bad, yet they didn't ever know where it was.
During the same incident they couldn't get me a taxi so the Riad I was trying to get to sent their taxi man over. When he arrived the hotel staff started a rather heated conversation with him for what I later found out was about a commission. Didn't leave me with the best impression of Morocco.

Especially location. Firstly, it was rather easy to find. Secondly, in the very heart of the city Fes el Jadida. Thirdly, close to the Railway station. Also the interior was splendid and the view from the room was on the picturesque mountain. I further liked the breakfast. Both the serving and the food. The costs were rather high but that came due to the high rate for the New Years night. I will surely recommend Zahrat Al Jabal Hotel to my friends going to Morocco!

Free internet that actually WORKS. Accept credit cards. Waiters are nice, rooms & bathrooms clean.

The hotel was clean, near the main part of town, the breakfast was ordinary western fare but plentiful. The shower had plentiful hot water. There was fresh linen everyday. This is a hotel, not a hostel.
However it was disturbing that our hostelbookers online booking had not gone through to the hotel. Despite this we obtained a room without problem at that time.
