Customer reviewThe hotel was nicer than expected, and the rooms were great and breakfast was decent. However, the front desk was much less than helpful. There were unable to break even a 20 euro note into smaller euro bills, which I suppose is vaguely understandable though basically everyone there pays in euros for their hotel rooms. Also, we scheduled a taxi to pick us up at 730AM the next the night before and were charged 20 euros after being told the local taxis do not go to the airport. Regardless if its true that local taxis don't go to the airport (would have cost maybe 5 euros), the front desk had no record of us paying for and ordering a taxi the night before when we arrived for it at 730 at the front desk. The woman at the front desk then slowly began calling the taxi company and receiving no answer. She eventually told us 5 minutes is when it would arrive, and it didn't come for 20 minutes. We finally left for the airport an hour after our expected and paid for time, at 830AM and barely made our flight (mostly due to Fez's scarily light security checks). Nice hotel, but bad service. |

Customer reviewOnly two good words to say about hotel batha: pool, location. Too many bad points to list. ants in bed. stale bread for breakfast everyday are just examples. Hot water restriction is a low point, but i was aware before i booked. Staff very unfriendly and unhelpful. even had tour guides touting for business in the foyer. a big minus after a whole day dodging them in the medina having to do it in your hotel. On a seperate point i stayed 5 nights in fez. too long. not nice people. moderate sized medina. 2 days max if i could do it again. |

Customer reviewThe hotel is a great place to stay in Fez. It is located very close to the medina. The pool is a great way to cool down after a hot day wandering the souks. The hotel restaurant is quite expensive, but there are a bunch of affordable cafes and restaurants located nearby. |

Customer reviewit is very central. they do not accept people after 4pm...which proved to be a hassle for us! had sent an email telling them that we would be arriving late, but they still gave our room to other ppl and we ended up looking for another hotel...and when we actually found (it was 11pm, after 14hours of travelling...not the best thing to do)...the receptionist told us that they found us a room in the hotel - the boss' son's! it was dirty and not prepared...but at least they gave us a room! the next morning they gave us a clean one tho! |

Customer reviewGood location, and the pool was a lifesaver! They are very specific about the 'confirming if arriving after 4pm' thing. I sent them an e-mail to let them know we were arriving late, and they still tried to tell me when I arrived that I hadn't informed them! (they expected a telephone call). Pretty building, bar on site, and well appreciated air-con in the rooms. Quite quiet too. |
