Liked: The satff was really helpful and always trying to make us feel welcomed. There is a nice atmosfhere and its a very nice house. Beds where comfortable. And the best of all, the location, right in the centre of the medina.

Disliked: the terrace was very very dirty and not really available for you to go up and ejoy the wonderful view. Also we had some troubles getting a hot showe as you need to wait for the staff to turn on the heater everythime you need a hot shower.

Disliked: There was no plugs in the room so couldnt charge my camera batteries. There was LOTS of big BED BUGS!!! They lied about there being a garden and internet, when told this they tried to make out that they ment something else which made absolutly no sense at all so proved they were making it up and not just a genuine mistake and understanding of English.

Disliked: First of all, do not stay in this hostel. There are plenty of others around where you can get a bad experience for cheaper. They pretended that we didn't pay any deposit and wanted the full price - we decided to stay since we were worried they would take the money off our card anyway. The staff was completely unprofessional, did not listen but instead shouted at us and later gave sarcastic comments each time we crossed paths. The room had a smashed window, the water took hours to come through the pipes and when it did, it smelled like sewage, the walls were damp and thus the paint was flaking off and the room was dirty with stained sheets. Worst hostel we've ever stayed in - and we've been in some bad ones!

Liked: Decent rooms, hot showers, functioning toilets, everythig was decently clean and rooms had bolts on the doors. The staff were friendly, the location was excellent, definitely worth what we paid.

Disliked: A little touch up on the walls would make the rooms look a lot nicer, but for what you pay, appearance doesn't really matter.

Liked: It´s probably the worst place I've ever stayed in. Dirty rooms´with dirty sheets, cold and it rained in. There a lot of other accomondations for the same price or even cheaper that are a lot better.

Liked: Majestic is not really the word for this place, get past the pleasant reception area, and you are in a well run down old hotel with the shared bathroom facilities being in particular need of renovation, but at least the loos were western style and showers were hot.. The main good point is the location in the heart of the medina, and it also has great views from the roof terrace. Its cheap and decent value, an ok budget option.
