Liked: Good location within walking distance of the souks and coast. The rooms are fairly basic but a good size and clean with air-con. There is a small supermarket and cybercafe nearby and it adjoins a cafe where you can get coffeee or tea. There are also a few small eating cafes across the road.

Disliked: The rates do NOT include breakfast as advertised but this didn,t bother me. Neither did the small extra tax charge added on arrival.

Liked: Really good value for money simply because it's about 15 minutes walk from the medina and walled town. I got a large, clean ensuite room with a decent shower and TV. i couldn't have wished for more for the price.

Disliked: It's really not that far from the town but if you don't like walking, or you get nervous walking alone at night then you may prefer somewhere in town.

Liked: It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were always available for any assistance needed. The little extras were really appreciated like the cleaning lady hung up something on a hanger when I had left it in the bathroom to dry. It was only a 5 minute walk to the Medina and 10 to the beach. One thing to watch for folks is that when you get off the bus people will try and get you to go with them to other places to stay, charge you money then drop you at the taxi after 30 minutes of walking about in the heat and through the Medina (really busy). Advice is to say no and get a taxi there. Will cost you only 10 dirham so well worth it rather than trying to find your way there. All in all a fantastic place to stay for the price.

Liked: The bathroom is bright, clean and hot shower.

Disliked: I found the bugs. It is terrible. But if you want to have single room and this price. You can consider.

Liked: The staff (Magit & Salwa ) were absolutely brilliant. The most friendly and helpful of all the Hotels we stayed at. This makes an enormous difference when travelling from place to place. Many thanks you guys!

Liked: It's a bit unfair to rate this with other hostels, because it's really a hotel and people are not there to mix in a common area. I had a single room for 16 euros which was about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the medina. If you are not fussed about being in the medina and game to get some extra walking in, it's a very decent place and the staff was extremely solicitous and helpful. I was also able to use their office computer to access the internet. Oddly, I had a fair number of mosquitos in my bathroom, none of which took any interest in me. Make of that what you will.

Liked: Excellent, clean hotel with friendly staff, about 15 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes from the main bus station,, not many tourists around the hotel so fairly cheap compared to the tourist area, good place to relax with some alone time and rest

Liked: I had a nice and big room for myself. I left my money in the room and i felt very secure. 10 minutes walking to the center and to a beautiful beach. I was very happy with my choise and i returned there to stay for more days.

Liked: Short walk to the medina and beach however very noisy at night, my bathroom wasn't cleaned and the staff were quite unhelpful and tried to overcharge me. it's a hotel, not a hostel so not a good place to meet pêople.

Liked: A good basic hotel. Staff were very helpful. Following a thunderstorm and a leaking window some of our belongings were saturated and the staff did not hesitate deducting money from the final bill!

Liked: Great place to stay. The guys on the desk are awesome! Its a ten minute walk to the medina and 15 to the beach, but taxis are cheap and its nice to see a side of essouaira/morocco that most people, who stay inside the walls, would miss completely. Very much a hotel but at a hostel price. Thanks for having us!
