Liked: Amazing hostel to stay at. Totally recommend this place for anyone and everyone. Atmosphere is super chill and the rooms are great, and really clean. There are 3 chill out areas including the tv/bar/computer floor, the hammock area and roof top patio where we spent hours and hours reading the taking in the sun. Awesome kitchen too, we made our meals every night. Staff is awesome and I never want to leave.

Disliked: I was in the ten bedroom and although I had a rucksack it was cramped, I had to go to bed when everyone said (as it was a shared room), the sheet were not particularly comfortable so luckily I brought a sleeping bag, the guests do not really speak to each other and most people sit in the living space reading or on their computers. The staff are not particularly helpful and were not especially welcoming. The receptionist stayed on a personal telephone call whilst I waited for her to finish, so I could get a map. I stayed in a number of hostels whilst in Morocco and this is the worse. However, if you are a stoner, who likes to sleep in, not very concerned about cleaniliness or socialising at all with the other guests (meaning even the basis good morning) - This hostel would be right up your street!!!

Liked: Everything! Location is great, the atmosphere is freaking wicked. Hung out on the roof top patio talking to fellow travellers all the time. Amazing common rooms and the bedrooms are spacious enough. Hostel staff is super cool and will help you out with anything. Actually love it so much, we are staying another 4 nights.

Liked: Easy-to-find Medina location from Supratours bus stop. We booked for 1 night but turned out with loved Essaouira and ended up staying for 5 nights! Very chilled out hostel with friendly and eager-to-help staff members. Very clean facilities. Wifi accessible in all bedrooms. Surfboards on loan for some fun times at the beach.Hammocks to relax in under the stars. 24 hour bar. We'll be back again one day for sure!

Disliked: Bad Moroccan weather during our stay... no reflection on the Hostel!!!

Liked: Reasonable place for the price. Good location and decent enough for meeting others. Staff seemed to turn the music up to unecessary levels most evenings which was an issue for the lower floor rooms. They also managed to give away my bed when the hostel was fully booked. Apart from those staffing issues...reasonable.

Liked: The location of the hostel was brilliant and the directions were spot on making it very easy to find. Although the staff were friendly, they do seem to be quite disorganised- we booked to stay in a dorm room for 5 nights and ended up changing rooms 3 times (although we did get a room of our own). There's a bar, which is great, but on the first night they ran of beer and didn't replenish the stocks for the five nights we were there! This was a shame seeing as though the 20dh beer was what lured us to the hostel in the first place.

Disliked: Disorganisation of staff- not replacing beer stocks and too many room changes (i don't think we were the only group affected)

Liked: The hostel had a good vibe to it and the staff were very helpful. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and it wasa good place to meet people. Good location too in the heart of the Medina.

Disliked: The kitchen was not very clean and the fridge/electrical points didn't work which meant we were boiling kettles in our bedroom. Also although there are lockers in the room, the room doors themselves do not lock.

Liked: Amazing set up spread over 5 levels, with the bottom a fully refurbushed and modern chill out lounge and area, offering satellite TV, free internet and wifi, HUGE table and seated area and bar with drinks on offer (20 dirham for a beer).The "manager"Adeal goes out of his way to get everyone together and involved, offering rooftop terrace dinners for bargain prices, lunches that equally match and directions and guides to all the best eateries and attractions.A MUST stay if you are in Essaouira... make use of the free surfboards and guitar if the waves and vibe is right

Liked: The staff were very friendly and outgoing. Big living areas and a terrace too make it a great place to chill out and it´s 100m from the main street in the old medina. Definitely a great hostel!
