 It was right on the city walls with the sound of the Atlantic pounding against it and the terrace was amazing to stand and just watch the waves crashing onto the rocks

The rooms were really well done with simple colour schemes and nice traditional touches the art work throughout the hotel was great too.
The sea views are great from the rooms and tyhe terrace

The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The room was clean, and breakfast was prompt and good. The location of this hostel is good, with just a five min walk to the port area. The rooms and communal areas are beautifully decorated, and the views from the roof terrace are fantastic.

The staff are really helpful and friendly, the beds are comfortable, and hot showers were greatly appreciated after previous travel.

Waking up to the sounds of the ocean breaking just at our doorstep, we went up the rooftop terrace where we were served moist Moroccan breads, mint tea, orange marmalade, and fresh squeezed orange juice which were included in the price of the room. The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated and provided more than enough space for the 3 of us. The staff could not have been more accommodating or friendly and spoke both French and English. The "hostel" (really, this is a hotel) is in a quiet area with views of the ocean. The only concern is that it is hard to find, especially if you arrive at night as we did. I wouldn't worry greatly about this fact as Essaouira has a very calm and safe atmosphere, even at night. All in all, a great place to stay, especially luxurious if you are on a budget like we were (and totally worth the 2 or 3 extra Euros a night!).

The staff were very friendly and easy going with arrival and departure times. They also booked camel rides for us which saved us some time. The location was good and the decor was lovely.

Excellent value for money within the town walls. The town is small so any hotel within the town walls is good enough. Beautiful views if you have a ocean view room. Very classy feel to it and it shows with the way they decorate. The show a lot of local artists on the walls and they have a wrought iron theme carried out throughout the whole hotel. The staff is really friendly too.

Great hostel, clean, friendly and the terrace overlooking the sea is absolutely stunning as are the rooms. Highly recommended.
