Situated half a kilometre from the Hotel Atlas Chaouen, the Rif for Anyone Guesthouse offers the best Bed and Breakfast in town, and is fully equipped with internet access and en-suite rooms with 24hr hot showers.
Surrounded by the Rif Mountains, the guesthouse has panoramic views from its shaded terrace. It’s the perfect place to relax with a glass of Moroccan wine or a cold beer.
Terry and Suzanne, the Scottish owners can assist in every aspect of your trip, as they have many years experience travelling throughout Morocco.

We’re situated up on the side of the mountain, with spectacular views, and the chance to see a different side of Chefchaouen, meet local people and get a feel for the pace of life here, rather than the hustle and bustle of the Medina, which is only a 15 minute walk (downhill all the way) and a 15dh taxi ride back up. It’s the perfect place to escape the “heat” of the Medina on a scorching afternoon; there is always somewhere to "chill" on the terrace, with a fresh breeze.
Another advantage of staying with us is the accessibility of local villages in the mountains. We can arrange day trips (or longer) to remote places otherwise obscured from the other tourists.
We can also arrange private taxi pick-ups to and from anywhere in Morocco.

Accommodation Information

On the ground floor we have 2 double rooms, with en-suite facilities, a triple room, also en-suite and a quad room also en-suite.
You also have the use of our lovely terrace and a comfortable sitting room. Many a good night has been had up here...
Also available is Wi-Fi high speed internet access.
We can also provide authentic Moroccan meals on request. Cooked by Tama, our next door neighbour, you will not get better food in any restaurant in Chaouen, if not the whole of Morocco. Or you could choose to eat some international food, cooked by Myself and my partner Suzanne.
We have also finished our stunning new top terrace, with garden. It also has a computerised telescope to view the stars and moon.

Location Information

Being up on the mountainside, on the edge of the "Tallessamtane National Park", we are perfectly situated for walking up into the surrounding Mountains. We can provide you with a guide, who is also a trained chef, and he will take you either on a 1, 2 or 3 day hike into the mountains.
Or you and our guide could take a "grand Taxi" to "Akchour". It has been described by some of our previous guests as "the best place in Morroco". It is a gorge, cut out by the " Farda River", over millions of years. It is one of the few rivers in Morocco with water flowing all year round. The walk up the gorge is spectacular, but not easy, and you are rewarded at the end by the magnificent and aptly named "Gods Bridge". Our guide will cook you a fantastic meal of your choice, in the gorge.
