Liked: Very relaxing & friendly atmosphere. It's in a perfect location: close to everything, but far enough to offer peace and quiet. The view is amazing & so is the staff. They have exclusive live music in the evenings & different art exibits. I met some great people, had an awesome time and will definitely be staying at The Hostel Anton again.

Disliked: sanja left no negative feedback.

Liked: Virtually everything. Best hostel I've ever been to. Unique. Amazing people (both the hosts and the guests). Fun fun fun – jam sessions at night, dinners together, going out together during the day and in the evening, perfect location for the area. I could go on and on.

Disliked: Wasps and mosquitos, but if you learn how to deal with them you'll be fine.

Liked: Nice atmosphere, great dinners, awesome sunset view – all in all very good value. I would have liked to have more time there and I's sure I'll go back!

Disliked: If anything, then the steep walk up, but then again, that's what provides the view :)

Liked: This is the coziest, coolest hostel i`ve been to in a long time. I extended my stay here and I`m coming back next year. Do not miss their dinner nites - the food is really cheap and super tasty. The staff and the owners are very helpful and fun people.

Liked: Hi, guys! I’ve been staying in hostel Anton for 10 days in June and spent there the most amazing time I’ve ever had! I’ve chosen Tivat because of hostel overview and great feedbacks, so I did have pretty high expectations – and they all came true! This place is really fantastic – picturesque view on mountains and the sea, cosy rooms and absolutely relaxing atmosphere. And the hosts are exceptionally nice, hospitable and friendly people, so you will definitely enjoy staying there! I’ve visited few other places in Montenegro, but Tivat I liked the most, since it’s not full of tourists and you can experience real life in Montenegro. I strongly recommend everyone to stay at Anton and I’m looking forward to come back there next summer!

Liked: This really is quite a unique hostel. Stunning bay views and surrounded by natural bushland, the walk / taxi ride is definitely worth it. It's a small family run hostel, Ivan and Maja have been great hosts even though they're both a bit busy still getting ready for the summer season. They even made me a cake for my birthday and then we watched a movie on the big screen from the gazebo in the garden. I don't really understand the warning against solo female travelers, though I'm not one, the owners are a married couple and both lovely people.

Liked: Hostel Anton and Montenegro was very relaxing for me. The nature is breathtaking, my bed was comfortable and the service is great. Maja, thank you for the French toast!

Liked: The place has character and it`s very unique. I loved the sea view, and the owners were very helpful and fun. They picked me up from the airport and I got a home-cooked Montenegrian dinner, tasty indeed. I decided to stay longer than I originally intended.The weather was gorgeous - Tivat in the Spring must be one of the most beautiful towns ever.

Disliked: I liked everything about it.

Liked: its a fantastic place to lounge around after a long and tiring trip. i ended up staying a few weeks. ivan and maja are fantastic hosts and know how to treat their guests like friends. very relaxed and maja is an excellent cook. highly recommended.

Disliked: In our room (the double one) the window was broken indeed, you could either have it closed or open all the way, and during the night you can't have it open because it's on the ground level. Also, they could make a few more parking spaces near the hostel, you could fit there only 4-5 cars let's say, and it could be a problem at times.

Liked: Cozy place with very helpfull and nice staff. The terrace was great! Too bad we didn't have enough time just to hang around. Our next stop was Dubrovnik and we were longing back!

Disliked: Towels were ridiculously small! If you come with a suitcase and no backpack you have to take a taxi up.

Liked: - Really nice and friendly staff!- Nice small garden, there's even a small pool there. - Cool sea view from the balcony.- Bar with cheap drinks (beer or wine is 1 euro).- REALLY COOL turkish coffee ("kuvana kafa").- Just 10 minutes from Tivat airport on taxi (3,5 euro if you take a "red taxi").- 20 minutes of walking to the central town beach and downtown.- Free WiFi.- No any problems with hot or cold water in showers.- Breakfast with tasty jam :-).

Disliked: - Not so clean. Showers sometimes are not clean. - It's not 700-800 meters far from the bus station, it's about 1.5 -2 km and 15-20 minutes of walking (by the way, there's 2 bus stations in Tivat - small one is closer to the airport and the second one is closer to the hostel and the downtown). - No doors between dorms :-) - No clothes racks in showers.

Liked: Beautiful family run operation. I had just come from Dubrovnik and this was the perfect way to escape the tourist hordes. Lovely outdoor patio/chill area, kitchen and dining area where you can get a filling, homemade meal for 4 euro, prepared by the hostel owner's mother. Doesn't get much better at only 10.50 per night in peak season.

Liked: Cool layout and cool family who run the hostel.

Disliked: Proximity of hostel not as good as implied on website but in a beautiful location which looks out over the mountains. Would be good particularly if you're into hiking

Liked: Excellent yard with a small pool to cool down in, chill out lounge outside and great music and atmosphere.

Disliked: Some maintenance work required in one bathroom with a blocked shower and broken toilet.
